Hi.... Sorry you are going through this! And also sorry that your doctor's office isn't helping you understand it at all! In my opinion, you may need to seek out a more helpful and proactive doctor! Anyways... I have very mild PCOS. The diabetes medication Metformin is helpful. It helped regulate my cycles some and lessens the amount of small cysts that can sometimes form on the ovaries. You may want to ask your doctor about potentially starting this medication. I used Clomid and a trigger shot to get pregnant with my daughter. My partner and I used donor sperm and did an IUI after being monitored with ultrasounds and bloodwork. I got pregnant on the third cycle and had a problem free pregnancy and delivery. PCOS does not make pregnancy impossible, obviously, but you may need to take Clomid or injectable medications in order to get your BFP. Good luck to you and feel free to ask any questions...I'll try to help if I can!
My friend has PCOS and used IVF for her first child and the second baby came as a complete surprise. SO there is lots of hope out there!
