You should be fine. The test is very sensitive and will only show you a happy face at the PEAK of your LH surge. You had your peak when you tested earlier and will ovulate soon. You should be timed perfectly for your IUI. You can ask your doctor to verify but I'm pretty sure it's perfect! Good luck tomorrow and thoughts of sanity for your 2ww!

Thanks Ann. The clinic went ahead with the IUI today. My follicle was just over 1.6 without meds. I use meds on my third attempt.

Dreamsabc, keep us posted. Are you using progesterone cream or inserts?

Nah, my doctor proscribed it. I am sure you're fine if they didn't.

    Baby dust to you.
    Take care of yourself.

Progesterone supplements are more common for medicated cycles

Usually, progesterone supplements are given to women like myself who tend to have low levels of this hormone after ovulation. Progesterone help build and maintain the lining of the uterus. Not all women have low levels and our body naturally produces this hormone anyway.
    Hope that helps.

    Dreams,
I was never prescribed progesterone. I did medicated cycles all the time and never needed it. So it is nothing you need to worry about. Your body produces it naturally, I'm sure your doc checked your levels as part of the testing they did before starting. Some women need it some don't. Breathe a sigh and have faith that this will work. If you have questions it is good to ask your doc but just because one person has a certain protocol doesn't mean that is the protocol you should be using.

I doubt this is the one for me. I am feeling my PMS symptoms.

Things are getting uncertain at work anyway so it may not be for the worst. My next natural cycle will be in March.

    Keep in touch.
