Hello,
My partner and I have just started the iui process. We tried our first attempt, however I think the timing was off, we'll know soon. Anyway my question is, are thereexperiences any of you would like to share on the stress or joy or both or arguments if any it caused. I find myself to be a little consumed by it, as the timing is so detrimental, and my partner doesn't understand. She thinks I talk about it too much. I just am curious how different couples handled the situation; was there any added stresses on the relationship, etc.., how did everyone react, and what were positives and negatives throughout the experience? Any stories would be awesome, I, just curious how other couples handled all of this.
Thank you for sharing and hoping well to all!!

I completely understand. my wife and I have been trying with IUI now for (this week will be #7 - I think). The thought was that I would be the one to carry due to some medical concerns and the fact that "we know you're fertile" - We have a child I gave birth to from a prev. relationship 13 yrs ago. Honestly it really depends on your personalities. I internalize most of my thoughts about it and have the higher stress job - while she is much more verbal about it and such. It has definitely led to some interesting discussions. Good luck to you as well.
