I had my ultrasound today and will proceed with IUI on Friday with Donor 4209. Doc says everything looks good, so off we go!

Best of luck to you! I go in on the 7th to test for CMV, tube blockages, and other preliminaries and am wait-listed for my guy. Turning 36 was like falling off the edge of a cliff and I wish I was ready to go like you. : )

Hi winter stars! I see you are in Philadelphia. What clinic do you go to, if you don't mind me asking? I go to UPenn Fertility. 36 is great!I wish I had started earlier. I am now 38! I would love to exchange feedback with you on clinics in the area!
Baby dust to you!

Hi Violeta!
I am using Abington Reproductive. I go to their satellite office in Langhorne (used to live in Bucks and know my way around) and will go to A. proper for the insemination. We've decided to do a natural cycle and I got the last IUI vial for my donor. So, Abington gets a passing grade with me. Their staff is very nice and phone calls are always returned. Insurance covered everything 100% (except sperm) and their benefits specialist is great. Two issues so far is that they scripted me an antibiotic from the same class of meds I am allergic to (pharmacist confirmed bad idea and risk of Stevens Johnson syndrome), and I also I did the paperwork for consent of cryostorage at Langhorne three weeks ago and Abington told me they never got it when the sperm was on its way! But resolved with a phone call. Did a hyseroscopy, refused tubal blockage test as that was checked during fibroid surgery, all that's left is their mandatory counseling and I am going to try this week!! Feel free to PM me if you like, best of luck!

So, triggered on Tuesday and thawed my guy this morning. 23 million robust count. He's sold out and has no plans to donate more, so crossing my fingers. 3.5 billions years of evolution and the maximizing of the process by science and still only a 20% chance, will keep my expectations realistic, but really hoping this works!

Well, I failed. Guess the auspicious conception beneath the double comet was not to be. Waiting to hear back from the nurse to see if we can try with the ICI.

Hi winter stars! I haven't checked this forum in a long time. Well, I changed doctors within Penn Fertility and moved t the main office (3701 Market Street). Liked it much more than my old doctor/ office location... I wish I had been able to reject tubal blockage test. I got a false positive, and it ended up delaying all my process... We went in for male infertility factor (my husband has zero sperm count), so it seemed ridiculous to run the whole infertility protocol on me, when I had never even tried to get pregnant! Keeping my fingers crossed. How is it going for you? Baby dust to you!
