2816 DD (Donor Dude)

Hello Everyone!
My name is Dana and my wife is Amanda. We got married in September 2009 in Provincetown, MA. Amanda and I had always talked and dreamed about starting a family together. Being in a same sex marriage, we had one SLIGHT problem. We did not have any "swimmers" semen. After much research and a high recommendation from our fertility center (Cooper University Hospital) we found Fairfax Cryobank. Amanda and I spent months viewing donors until we found the PERFECT one for us...2816!!! Then after almost a year..... we finally got PREGNANT. On May 19th, 2011 we welcomed our beautiful baby BOY into the world! We decided to start this Forum and try and get as much information on DD (Donor Dude) as well as other children from 2816. We have decided that we will take all information that we gather and sit down one day with our son and let him decide what he wants to do with it. We plan on being completely honest with our son in regards to the fertility process as well as what helped us decide on the DD.
