Hello Everyone!
My name is Dana and my wife is Amanda. We got married in September 2009 in MA. Amanda and I had always talked and dreamed about starting a family together. Being in a same sex marriage, we had one SLIGHT problem. We did not have any "swimmers" semen. After much research and a high recommendation from our fertility center (Cooper University Hospital) we found Fairfax Cryobank. Amanda and I spent months viewing donors until we found the PERFECT one for us...2816!!! Then after almost a year..... we finally got PREGNANT. On May 19th, 2011 we welcomed our beautiful baby BOY into the world! We decided to start this Forum and try and get as much information on DD (Donor Dude) as well as other children from 2816. We have decided that we will take all information that we gather and sit down one day with our son and let him decide what he wants to do with it. We plan on being completely honest with our son in regards to the fertility process as well as what helped us decide on the DD. We are completely proud and blessed to have our son and we hope one day he can say the same about his mommy and mama! Please fell free to contact us.

My 4 1/2 year old daughter is also a 2816 baby. I am a single mom living in NJ, and when the time was right, Donor 2816 was the one right from the beginning.
I am very curious about other 2816-kids' personalities. My daughter is funny, outgoing, a singer, a dancer, very dramatic, and very into cooking, music and crafts. She loves to sit with her guitar or with her karaoke machine and sing me songs, either from the radio or the ones she composes on her own (I need to start writing down the words!) She is also tall and leggy (very much unlike me), she has dark blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes.
There is also a private forum here for families who used Donor 2816. I'd love to know more about your son! Juliana has asthma, a peanut and almond allergy, and she is allergic to dogs and cats, but she is very healthy overall. Great eater!! LOVES fruits and vegetables and good, sharp cheeses
