Has anyone been through this? I had BFP mon almost 2 wks ago then blood work and it showed hcg at 22 which is low. Retested hcg 2 days later and it decreased and was told I had a chemical preg. They checked my hcg again this past thurs and it was 118. She said isn't good and possibly ectopic. I have hcg rechecked this coming up mon and if still high doing ultrasound tues. Just wondering if anybody else has gone through this and what I can expect...

I have never had an etopic pregnancy but I think it means that the egg may have tried to attach to the fallopian tubes. It could mean surgery. I am sorry that you are going through this and will be thinking and praying for you. We go through so much in this journey to become mothers. Just know that it is alo worth ot in the end. My son will be turning one soon and I enjoy everyday with him. Even those days where he is crabby and only wants me!

All that I know about etopic pregnancies is that they can be painful and Robin is correct most require surgery. I had a coworkers daughter who recently went through this. I am so sorry that you are having to go through this.

I have had an ectopic pregnancy and it is when the egg attempts to implant in the fallopian tube. It required surgery and they cut my left fallopian tube so it is no good now. It was more painful emotionally for me than it was physically. If this is what you are going through I am sorry to hear that. Actually whatever you are experiencing that is causing you pain and discomfort I am sorry to hear.

I know this thread is old, but I have just been through an ectopic with surgery. I lost my left tube with the baby. I am here if you want to talk. It's devastating.

I'm so sorry to hear. I had no idea the extent of the incredible pain until last month when I too found out my pregnancy was ectopic. I was treated with methotrexate. It's been so painful both physically and emotionally. I pray and hope for your recovery and peace.
