what do donors know?

I am a smbc and open about my use of a donor. People often ask me if the donor knows anything about who used him &/or the resultant births. I used an options donor so I know my child can look him up @ 18, but I don't know what, if anything, the donor knows about the children in the interum. Thought it was an interesting question. Anyone know the answer?

The donors are not informed about use or results of their donations. The ID options donors will be notified only when the child is of legal age.
