Thanks Esther I pray all goes well with you and your baby. I guess because they want them to be 20 - 22mm and it's cycle day 13 for me. So maybe she's concerned that by the time I ovulated that they would be even bigger. I really don't know but I think I want a second opinion before my window closes for this month. I also don't know if something could be "genetically" wrong with follicles that are large...Who knows because I really don't know what to do at this point.

Those are huge follies! I know with IVF those would be too big and they would not even try to fertilize them. I think the issue is when they get that big they are considered over mature and the egg quality is compromised and usually ends in MC. As a person who has been through a miscarriage I would not want to even wish that on my worst enemy. It was more emotionally painful than physically painful. There is a lady on this board named Robin who also only had one side working in her favor but she has a son who is about to turn one. Her story is on these boards and I would recommend reading it. I believe patience and perserverance were the two keys to her success. This is a journey and we all want it to happen right now but you will learn there is always a wait for something (AF, TWW, etc.). I would wait if I were you but it's clearly your choice just make sure you have all the info you need to make a sound decision

Thanks latebloomer, I spoke with my doctor today for clarification and she said that when they are that size they are cysts and that well just reduce the clomid next month. So at least we know that the clomid works for me:p I knew this process was going to test my willingness to be patient. And in order not to go thru another m/c I will definitely learn more patience. So I'm gonna chill and wait for AF so we can do this again.

You were absolutely right highlyfavored! I miscarried my baby two weeks after I wrote to you. It seems the egg quality was compromised after all. I feel absolutely distraught now after two miscarriages this year. I am glad you waited. I wish you the very best for the rest of your journey. X
