Has anyone had a pregnancy brought to term with this donor or nearing the end of their pregnancy. I noticed his birth range went up. Would love to hear if so.

Hi Melissa. Just wondering if you had your first IUI with this donor yet and how it is going
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
Hi! No I start taking Letrozole tomorrow and then we are shooting for the 24th. I'm very excited but nervous as well. How are you? Still using 4046? Hope all is well!!

I am doing well. Thanks. No, I decided to try another donor to see if I get lucky. Good luck to you! Hope you get a positive and sucessful pregnancy :). Keep me update it

Hi Melissa. Hope you are doing great! How did your first iui go? Did you get a good sperm motile count with donor 4046?
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
Hi marthur! No I had to have surgery last month so I had my first IUI July 25th :)) I'm in my 2WW. So fun. My temperature has stayed elevated but I'm not sure if it means anything? It's so hard not to over analyze things! The motility count was good, maybe 35%? Doctor said it was a good sample. Are you still using 4046? I'm curious if anyone has had any luck. What's going on with you. Hope you are well :)

Hi Melissa. I have been thinking about trying IUI one more time and wondering if I should try donor 4046 again. I didn't get good motile count the previous times but I really like that donor. I would also like to know if anyone has had a sucessful pregnancy using this donor. did you do a single iui or back to back iuis? wish you the best luck!
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
Marthur I just did the one IUI. I would love to know as well. He has been donating for a while and has a pregnancy range of 5-10 so there has to be someone! How many iui's have you done?

2lovergirls. How exciting!!!! Only a couple days apart lol. Yeah I'm trying not to test early. My temp dropped .3 today so I'm feeling a little discouraged :(. Good luck to you. can't wait to hear your results!!

I have done 3 singles IUIs. One resulted in pregnancy lost due to no heart beat at 7 weeks. I have no fertility problems and had no problems getting pregnant with my daughter who is 6 years old. I just want to have another baby and decided to be a single mother by choice after a very painful break up. I am 42 now and need to do it before it is too late :(
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
I'm sorry you have had such difficulty. I'm 32 and also will be a single mother by choice. I have no known problems but have never tried to conceive. So we will see what happens. Good luck to us all!!!

Melissa33 i just finished my 2ww and we were unsuccessful as well. :( guess we will try again in a few weeks. i am sorry to hear yours was not successful either ... i have not found anyone who was successful with him even though he has reported pregnancies. i wonder if they were successful pregnancies??? i wish someone would post a success story with this donor....:/ give me a little hope... feeling very disappointed...

Hi, I am new, and trying with the same Donor. I tried IUI once with a different one, but they advised me that with frozen semen the IUI is much more difficult to be successful.
So, I am trying IVF, which is surer in our situations. Thank God, in Europe the whole ivf is cost $2000 WITH medications, same price as an iui in USA. I keep you posted, my ivf is on September 11!

I know how you feel!!! Since beginning this journey that has been a bit confusing to me as well. Several of us are using him and he's always sold out but no one has posted a successful delivery. I'm discouraged as well but trying to think positive. I will have my next one this month and then have to wait a while if I'm not pregnant. Here's hoping :)

Tylor where do you live in Europe? Good luck to you as well!!

Yeah, it's cheaper in Europe, Mexico, and Canada. We're Canadian -- but using a US clinic because of the guarantee program. We get five free cycles, thank god. Hopefully we don't need more after this one --- getting really tired of miscarriages.

I don't live in Europe anymore, but found this clinic in Hungary. I feel they care more and better, than in US. Let's see , I keep you posted, but very disappointing, if our donor has no luve birth, but many miscarriages...

Is there any way to ask the moderator, if there was still birth of 4046?
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
That's great that's it's affordable!! Sorry to hear you've miscarriages! Were they with this donor?
  • Fairfax CryobankFairfax Cryobank Administrator Senior Member
If you contact client services at 1-800-338-8407 they can give you the pregnancy range for donor 4046.
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
The pregnancy range does not tell you if there are live births though.
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
I checked and there has been a live birth reported :)
  • TylorTylor Junior Member Junior Member
Melissa, thats a great news! How were U able to find out such info about it? It would be so good to know how many pregnancies from how many sold vials etc.
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
I contacted Fairfax. They do limit how much they tell you. They will only say that there has been at least one live birth.
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
Tylor are you in the US or Hungary?
  • TylorTylor Junior Member Junior Member
Here, in US, my ivf will be in Hungary.
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
Wow! That's cool. Hard to believe it will be cheaper with flight and everything!
  • TylorTylor Junior Member Junior Member
Flight is $700, carrying semen in dry ice from US, and they help you with hotel. Not more expensive. Than $3500in all total. I realized IUI is just too low chance with frozen sperm... After thawing it lives only 15-20 minutes! If you want more info, i can send you in private msg.
  • Melissa33Melissa33 Senior Member Senior Member
I thought thawed sperm lived for several hours. I'm super excited to hear that though. I have a friend who may use IVF. I can't wait to tell her of that option :)
