My wife and I are in South Carolina just outside of Charlotte, NC. We got our BFP this weekend using donor 4625 on a medicated iui cycle. We picked him because he had a sexy voice and the same brown hair blue eyes combo that I have. And he's tall so hopefully the kid will be able to reach the top kitchen cabinets for us!

Hi everyone... My wife and I live in Texas. We are trying to decide between two donors and still have a little time to do so. We are going in for our consultation appointment on Thursday and I am nervous and excited at the same time. I did this with my daughter years ago and was successful the second time around so I am hoping that we can still be as successful this time! Good luck to everyone!

Hello everyone! We are getting married in August and our first IUI will be in August as well! Big month for us! We've been together 8 years and are very excited to add to our family. We live in Tennessee. We're still in the "narrowing it down" process on which donor to choose which is much harder than I thought it would be! Good luck to everyone!

Hi there! My husband and I used Donor 4183. We were blessed with a son in 2014 and would love to have a sibling. This donor is no longer available. This may be taking a shot in the dark but do you have any extra vials you might want to sale?
We would greatly apprectiate it!

Hello! My husband and I are from Baltimore, Maryland. We used donor 4572.
We were blessed with a son in 2014. We are expecting another miracle this August! -
We are in NC too! What part are you in?

Hi Everyone!! My wife and I will be making our first IUI attempt tomorrow. We are using donor #4358 as he is half Filipino. My wife is Filipino, and we have found it very hard to find Filipino donors. We were so happy to find him! I am 30 years old, and my wife is 39. I will be carrying as my wife is older and also suffers from stage 4 endometriosis.
We live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. However, I am from Boston Massachusetts and my wife is from New Jersey (originally the Philippines).
We are so excited! -
We live right outside Raleigh. What donor did yall choose?

Hello,
My wife and I are from NC as well. We now live in Charleston SC. We visit family in NC regularly. We visit the Raleigh and Asheville areas with our families. Our daughter was born April 2013. We used donor 4183. So she will be 6 next month. We wish our daughter could see more modern families than the typical family make up that she is seeing at her school. -
Let me know when you guys visit, and we can do a meetup at a park or something.

Hello, I have an extra vial from Donor 4358 located in North Carolina. Please contact me if interested.

February of this year, my wife (25) & I (36), both from Baltimore, MD, were blessed with a beautiful baby girl using donor 4774. We were successful with our 4th IUI cycle. The first 3 tries, we chose to track my cycle ourselves (my insurance doesn't cover fertility at all so we went the cheaper route) but then we decided to have the Dr. track it the 4th try & BOOM! We are currently on the waiting list for the same donor in hopes to try for a sibling. When we purchased our last vials there wasn't a waiting list so we didn't think anything of it but towards the end of my pregnancy when we started to plan financially for our next child, it was very disappointing to find the donor's status had changed. We never thought of the possibility of having to choose another donor. Anyone else been in this situation?
-
We have been through that situation a couple times! We purchased vials to conceive our daughter, then purchased more as 4282 was still available after our first pregnancy. We had enough for baby #2... but by the time we were trying for our third we had 2 vials left and they were inactive with a waiting list! We luckily have received two phone calls over the last year for sold-back vials (3 the first time, 1 second) and we are 10 weeks along with baby #3.
My suggestion is to make sure you chat or call Fairfax to ensure you are on the list for ALL prep-types. We originally were on the list for just IUI, and I thought we on the list for all. There are separate lists depending on prep type - our provider could work with any if needed. Also, once they call make sure you buy all available vials to remain on the list! Otherwise you don't get to go back on.
Hope that helps! Sending you positive thoughts for a call soon, I completely understand the feeling! -
Thanks for the suggestion! I didn't think to ask about other prep-types as I'm only familiar with IUI. I'll have to speak with our provider to see if the other options will work for us. Congratulations on baby #3! I pray we are as lucky.
