Endometrial "Scratch"... Did I do it too soon?

I've been reading a lot about endometrial biopsies or "scratches" greatly increasing IVF success rates when performed the month prior to your IVF cycle. These aren't routinely done at my clinic, so I requested one, and it was done in late September when I had my last period.

I did NOT realize that on a BCP protocol that I would be having another period! I thought you went straight from BCP to stims, and so on...

Does this mean that I did the scratch too soon? Should I have done it during the time I was on the BCP, because technically, THAT is the cycle before the IVF cycle?

I suppose it's too late to do much about it now, just curious... I sure hope I didn't screw this up. I only have one shot.

Annamarie, I wouldn't worry. My clinic does that procedure and you are correct they scheduled it when I was on the BCP.
However, because of the shape of my cervix my doctor cancelled it. He said it only improves the odds for 1 in 10 women.
I wish I had a success story to share. I would still say relax. You do not want to be stressed during your IVF cycle.
    Baby dust.

Thanks, yanla. I've read really positive stuff about the procedure, which was NOT comfortable. When do you get started with IVF, or have you, already?

I have already done my IVF cycle. I am in my 2ww. Apparently that procedure has been around for awhile.
    All the best!!
