a lil worried

To any one who can help, I'm a little worried not that me and my partner has any problems but I was recently told that in Pennsylvania it's a hard process when it comes to 2 woman being acknowledged on the birth certificate. My partner carried my eggs and she will be acknowledged on b.c and I won't. My job will give me a hard time to give my child insurance. And I'm a lil worried can anyone help or give advice.

We live in Maryland and our daughter was born in 2012- before the gay marriage law was passed. My partner was not allowed to be on the birth certificate at the time of our daughter's birth. We had to go through the adoption process and had the birth certificate redone. I highly recommend that option.

Thank u so much. I was scared at first but my partner put me at ease. We contacted a lawyer which was a lil expensive but welcomed us with open arms. It's ashame that u have to go through so much to complete your family.
