Question for the 2 mommy families out there. What does your child refer to birth mom as and partner as? My wife is only 6 weeks along but we were talking about it the other day and weren't too sure. I'm going to try to carry a sibling using the same doner in a couple years and would like if they were each calling us the same thing.

We go by mommy and mama

We thought it would be Mommy & Mama but she calls us both "Mommy"

Our son is only 3 months so he is not calling us anything yet. But we refer to each other as mommy and momma

We too go by Mommy-my wife and I'm Momma. She says both and knows who we are

Our 3 1/2 year old daughter calls me "momma" and my partner, her birth-mom as "mudder" (mother). We now refer to each-other based on the names she calls us, however, we didn't before. Always called each-other by our first names. It is something she picked up on her own. She knows the difference, and occasionally if she says "mudder" I will turn around and she quickly points out, "not you momma, her, mudder" pointing to the other. We thought it best to let her figure it out on her own, and we went from there.
