Good luck Melissa!!! I heard that you have more chances to get pregnant when you do back to back IUIs...did you do a single IUI this time? Is your doctor doing the IUI 22-24 or 36 hours after the HCG shot? I think the timing is very important if frozen sperm only lives for a few hours....baby dust to you

Thanks. I've done a single IUI both months. I'm only taking Femara. Not trigger shots or ultrasounds. This does bother me a little but my doctor feels it is a waste of money in my case. If this cycle doesn't work I will maybe push the issue. I would say the IUI was done about 28 hrs after I got my positive opk. I'm hoping for success this round. Marthur are you trying? How do you know how many follicles are mature and the size of your follicles without the ultrasounds? I am trying this month again but with donor 2754...it has more reported and successful pregnancies. I will do a back to back IUI this time...sometime next week...:)

I don't! I'm going off the positive opk and that's it. If I'm not pregnant I'm going to take a couple of months off and then try again. At that point I think I will see a fertility specialist. My obgyn thinks this is okay because of the Femara and the positive opk. I've tried to be patient and she thinks because of all the blood work and my age there is no reason to do the other things. Hopefully I will get a bfp this month). I'm so excited for you!!!!! How close together are they doing the IUI's? Baby dust to you!!!

I believe they will do it 24 and 36 hours after the ovulation shot. Hopefully this time will be it

You are really good on waiting. It is hard for me to wait the 2 weeks...always test on a day or two before. Try to stay positive.

Yeah I did that last time!! I'm trying to be patient but had dark spots twice which usually means my period is coming. I'm going to try and stay positive though. Did you get pregnant with your first IUI?

Yes, i got pregnant with the first IUI (donor 4046) but had a misscarriage at 7 weeks. Did you get a good count on this IUI? Mine were 14 millions the first time...not that good

I don't remember the exact count but I know the first time it was good. I think if I get a negative I will make an appointment with a fertility clinic. I don't know of my doctor is being aggressive enough. I also may need more testing to rule out any problems with me

Marthur I just did the one IUI. I would love to know as well. He has been donating for a while and has a pregnancy range of 5-10 so there has to be someone! How many iui's have you done?
2lovergirls. How exciting!!!! Only a couple days apart lol. Yeah I'm trying not to test early. My temp dropped .3 today so I'm feeling a little discouraged. Good luck to you. can't wait to hear your results!!

Thanks Melissa. I had the IUI last Saturday. Only did a single IUI. This time I decided to do a natural IUI ( no medications)...I am praying it works this time because I am feel drained. Are you trying soon again?

Ugh I know the feeling!!! I don't think so. I have no vials left. I'm on the wait list so we will see. I have an appointment with a fertility specialist today so we will see what she has to say. Good luck, can't wait to hear your results!!!

I had my embryo transfer today! Donor 4046 worked well, two embryos got A grade and they could even do assisted hatching that requires quality sperm. The biologist said the specimen was great, if course for ivf mortality is not an issue. So 2WW has started! Melissa, i have a vial stored, if i succeed i will
give it to you surely. -

Hi Melissa,
I couldn't wait and did a Home pregnancy today and was negative. Today is 12 days after IUI. My only hope is that it is still too early. This is so hard.
