I did not because my doctor said not to because of the low sperm count and we did not want to take the chance because of my issues. But you only need one! Good luck to you! I think mine was at 16 million. -
Hey everyone! I had my iui this morning so fingers crossed. Everything seems to be going in the right direction and they didn't mention any concerns. I was feeling really good about this cycle until the nurse said they recently had someone get pregnant on the 1st try...which was also the first time for their office (to have someone get pregnant on their first try) I hope I just misunderstood. I know it can take many tries with iui but geez I was hoping there were still a bunch of lucky 1st cycles! To whoever ended up with a BFP...was it your first try? Btw they had me on injectibles so I'm hoping that helps me. Anywho...good luck to all and keep us updated!

Thank you!! Fingers crossed for you! I did not use the ART vials either, I can't remember off the top of my head what the count was but I know it was pretty high! Lots more swimmers when I looked under the microscope compared to the last donor we tried! Looks like 4991 has some good swimmers! -

I also carried our son and he took many more tries (different donor though!) and with this baby it took me two tries! Once with a different donor and then positive with 4991! Fingers crossed for you! I have friends that it worked on their first try! -
Mine worked on the first try. I think they tell you that to not get your hopes so high. Who knows. Good luck and try to keep busy for the next 2 weeks.

I was wondering if those of you have done IUI used Clomid + the trigger shot? I should start in July but was debating whether I wanted to use Clomid from the start. I have never tried to get pregnant before, have never been on birth control, and have always had a regular menstrual cycle. My one downfall is I'm 36. I'm just concerned about a multiple pregnancy since it is higher risk. Thoughts?

Yes I used Clomid and the trigger. I am 39 and I have been pregnant before but miscarried from a relationship. My cycle was regular after I had surgery for endometriosis. That was 9 years ago. I also drop 2 eggs from one ovary. I was VERY nervous about multiples as I am a choice mom. I was concerned with the extra hormones it could happen. Which it could. But I only heard one heartbeat so far so I am good with that. I just wanted to make sure I did all I could to make sure it was successful and not waste money if I missed a recommended treatment. It costs too much to take chances in my opionion. I just followed the doctors orders on the best method. If I had twins I would just have to overcome it after the shock. -

Pointofgrace81, did your results turn out positive? Hopefully some good news. -
Hey enb123 when is your next cycle? We may be cycle buddies this month. Anyone else doing a cycle this month?
-
Hey guys, bad news.....I had a heart beat on week 6 but not on week 7.
-
Aw, ctoup, I'm really sorry to hear that
-
Ctoup, so sorry to hear that. Sending you positive energy and hugs. Are you guys going to try again with 4991?

SOoooooo Sorry to hear that ctoup!! I know exactly what you are going through and if you need to talk I private message you my number.
I have semi-bad and good news. The fertility clinic missed on the sonogram that I had two babies. Unfortunately, one baby did not survive. Apparently, it is called a vanishing twin. We don't know if it ever had a heartbeat. I do still have one heartbeat of the other baby. I have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes from the pregnancy, so I have to go get that taken care of. -
Thanks you guys! Not sure what we will do next. Debating taking the summer off since 4991 is wait listed along with all of our other favorites! Tball, I am sorry to hear about the lost twin but happy to hear your little on is still doing well! Good luck to all of you guys trying this month! Sending you all good vibes!

Me and my wife bought multiple vials for the both of us from donor 4991. We are starting our first natural iui in August with me going first!! We had to wait a little due to a trip to the carribean and the Zika 8 week precautionary wait, but we are so excited. Hope to hear more about results with this donor!!

Hey Jaclynrae- welcome to the group. I'm currently in my tww with this donor. This will be be second IUI. Both times the donor's counts have been wonderful. I hope to have a positive pregnancy test on July 6th! If you want my e mail I am happy to share it just PM me. Best of luck to you guys next month!

So, I officially have my first IUI with Donor 4991 on Wednesday morning. I have a few questions for those of you who have been through the IUI process. First, I'm a pretty physically active individual. Did any of you workout during your TWW, and if so, what types of exercise did you do? Second, a week after my IUI I am traveling to Hawaii to visit friends. Did any of you fly during the TWW, and if so, did you go through the x-ray machine? I may be drastically over analyzing all of this, but figured it couldn't hurt to check

Hi all! Does anyone have vials for 4991? We are looking for any available for siblings.
-
Do you have a child already from this donor? We have a private group that you can join if so and you can see if any of them have vials available for siblings
-
Hi Taball, I am pregnant with 4991. Can I join the private group. Or would you prefer I went until I have the little one. I'm 11 weeks and 5 days. Very excited about the future.
-
Yes, we just had twins from 4991
-
I am wondering the same thing. We are currently pregnant with this donor and would be interested in joining the private page.
-
I would also like to be added to the Facebook group, Who do I contact?
-
Hi Taylor4991 I'm selling 4 vials if interested. They never left the fairfax facility.
-
@Baby_Journey7, how would I go about purchasing vials from you?
