I did not because my doctor said not to because of the low sperm count and we did not want to take the chance because of my issues. But you only need one! Good luck to you! I think mine was at 16 million.
Thank you!! Fingers crossed for you! I did not use the ART vials either, I can't remember off the top of my head what the count was but I know it was pretty high! Lots more swimmers when I looked under the microscope compared to the last donor we tried! Looks like 4991 has some good swimmers!
I also carried our son and he took many more tries (different donor though!) and with this baby it took me two tries! Once with a different donor and then positive with 4991! Fingers crossed for you! I have friends that it worked on their first try!
Yes I used Clomid and the trigger. I am 39 and I have been pregnant before but miscarried from a relationship. My cycle was regular after I had surgery for endometriosis. That was 9 years ago. I also drop 2 eggs from one ovary. I was VERY nervous about multiples as I am a choice mom. I was concerned with the extra hormones it could happen. Which it could. But I only heard one heartbeat so far so I am good with that. I just wanted to make sure I did all I could to make sure it was successful and not waste money if I missed a recommended treatment. It costs too much to take chances in my opionion. I just followed the doctors orders on the best method. If I had twins I would just have to overcome it after the shock.
Pointofgrace81, did your results turn out positive? Hopefully some good news.
SOoooooo Sorry to hear that ctoup!! I know exactly what you are going through and if you need to talk I private message you my number.
I have semi-bad and good news. The fertility clinic missed on the sonogram that I had two babies. Unfortunately, one baby did not survive. Apparently, it is called a vanishing twin. We don't know if it ever had a heartbeat. I do still have one heartbeat of the other baby. I have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes from the pregnancy, so I have to go get that taken care of.
