    Hi ladies,

Sadly this baby did not develop properly and I lost it. I will try again in a cycle or two but just taking some time to grieve.

Lizzie, I am so sorry to hear that. I will have my first attempt in 3 weeks, give or take. It got pushed back because I was out of the country and started early. Figures. Please keep us updated on your next attempt. The waiting before and after feels agonizing and I really haven’t gone through it yet!

Thanks for the support ladies, it is a shock but at least I know I can get pregnant. Through this process my doctor confirmed I have PCOS so I will continue the fertility meds but a slightly higher dose. I will be trying my next cycle assuming it comes.

Kimberlyn + Danny - have you had the IUI yet? Any news?

Not yet. My cycle is not regular so I am just waiting. Never thought I would be so excited for my period. Lol. Should be any day. Are you planning to try again soon?

Yes I am definitely ready to try again. I was reminded that my fertility clinic closes in July/August so I am feeling a bit pressured. I need to ovulate within a week or I won't be able to try in June. And I don't want to say it but I know I won't get it because my body is all wonky from the miscarriage - it took 5 weeks for my body to complete the miscarriage and it has left my body confused! You never know though...

I am disappointed that I will likely have to wait but I am excited for a September conception. If I could pick any months to have a baby it would be June-August. If I conceive the first week of September than the baby would be due at the end of May...I feel like this was oddly meant to be. And thinking about that excites me!

I hope you get your period soon!!!!!! My natural cycles are 35 days long so I get the frustration of waiting.

I totally understand the frustration! My mom had a miscarriage before she got pregnant with me. My body has been wonky, but I think it has been stress. Period finally did come and first attempt is tentatively scheduled for June 2. We shall see what happens! The waiting is brutal though!
