    Hello,
My partner and I are interested in using Donor 4187. We really liked his profile and his baby pic - very cute! Would anyone be willing to share the adult photo if you have it? Or, provide a description?
    Thanks!
I used this donor a couple of times without any luck. (I've gone with another donor) His numbers post wash were always great. My friend said he looks like Ricky Schroder but with brown hair. I have to agree with that. I also thought he could be a cousin to Ashton Kutcher. They have the same coloring and toothy smile :D Either way he's a handsome guy.
    Good luck with your cycle!

Just a thought, but if your planning on using a donor, i would def buy the pic and see for yourself. Moe is right, he is a very handsome guy, but I do not think he looks one bit like Ricky Schroder at all, not in any way or fashion. He has all the german features, dark hair, total different built. But then again, everyone has different views. Not really sure what they mean by cousin to ashton kutcher, because i look nothing like my cousins, and don't really think this 4187 looks like ashton either. But again, everyone has own thoughts/ opinions, but its definitely worth the piece of mind to view his pic, you won't be disappointed in my opinion. Good luck in your choice and your process. Not trying to be argumentative at all, and i value all opinions, but in this choice, i would definitley view yourself. :D

    Hey everyone....
I am very new to all of this and i am hoping that I can find comfort on this forum. My husband found out that he has 0 sperm. We decided to do iui with DS. We just bought 9 vials of 4187. This is our first attept at iui. I was wondering how many have been pregnant by donor 4187 and if there is any advice???????
    Thanks :P

Why would you buy 9 vials of sperm? it only takes 2 each attempt? Just curious.
No advice- Just good luck!!! I had luck with this donor and feel very blessed.

I never bought that many vials at any one time because you don't know how the speem counts are. Also my doctor always suggested switching after so many rounds of it not working. That being said I used 4187 three times and he had good numbers every time so no worries. It's a newbie mistake. Lol

    Good luck.

We decided to get 9 vials because if you buy 8 and a fairfax member you can get free storage for two years. It is only 150 to exchange as many vials as you want. When we called the donor only had 13 left and it was going fast. If I get pregnant, I want to make sure that I get the same guy if I get pregnant again. We want to try iui for 6 months. I believe we did the right thing. maybe?? :?

Well if you put it that way, that totally makes sense. LOL, Especially if your wanting to have more than one baby. :)
    Keep us posted. Good luck!!

clindsey - We did the same thing you did, we bought 10 vials. We wanted the same donor for all of our children. We got pregnant on our second attempt using IUI. His sperm count was off the charts. :) Baby girl due in June. With Fairfax's buy back program, we felt very comfortable buying the quantity we did. I wish you nothing but the best.

Thank you so much for your reply. We did our first iui on March 13 so we are in the 2ww. I was curious about your timing for the iui. I went in on the 13th and had two great follicles. They gave me a trigger shot and decided to do the iui on the same day. We only did 1 vial the first time to see if it might work the first time with one. How long after the trigger did you get the iui done? If this does not work we will do 2 vials the next time. I am very anxious. Thank you again for the reply.

We went in on day 11 of my cycle and I had two large follicle's and one small. We did the trigger shot on day 12, then did the IUI on day 13. They used only one vial. I was also on chlomid day 5 through 9. Our first attempt (that didn't work because my follicle never dropped), we went in on day 11 and did the trigger shot, then did the IUI on day 12. Good luck to you! The 2ww is the worst!
