    No luck here! I ordered 3 vials from donor 2931, but I was disappointed because I went for my IUI on 3/18 and his count was only 7.5 million! Not impressed, hopefully the other 2 vials are higher.

    I went for an ultrasound to check follicle size and am doing a trigger shot tonight and iui on wednesday. This is my last vial so if it doesn't work I will also be looking for a new donor. Sorry to hear you didn't have any better luck Jenn and congrats to you Artist.

    Artist- I did the trigger shot and waited 36 hours then they did the iui Wednesday. The doc said the follicle size was 22 mm I believe and everything looked good on the ultrasound. They told me not to do a prenancy test for 16 days after the shot because you can get a false positive, have you ever heard that? I sure hope this thime works since it just cost me an extra $500 for the ultrasound and shot. How is your pregnancy going, any morning sickness?

    My doc office said not to test until day 14 but what I did was test out the trigger starting day 5piui using pregnancy tests. Once I got a negative test (on day 7 for me) I started to test for a real positive result. You can use internet cheapies or get the dollar general brand (not dollar tree...they were crap!). The reason they say out will give you a false positive is because the trigger shot is the hcg (pregnancy) hormone. It metabolizes out of your system so it can leave different people at different times. As for me- I've between sick since week 5. It started out as nausea and developed into full blown all day sickness around 8 weeks! I take zofran once a day to get me through but it's rough sometimes. My pants are too tight so they're never buttoned and I can see a small bump above my pelvic bone. I go for my next u/s on april 2nd for the first trimester screening. I can't wait cause I haven't seen my pumpkin seed since it was 8wks and I'll be one day short of 12wks then! Baby will be moving all over the place then! Keep me updated with things! And remember that the trigger shot imitates pregnancy symptoms so you'll be going crazy these next few days!

    I didn't realize that it would give me some same symptoms, my breasts have been sore but I thought that was a little soon,lol now I know why. It's going to be a long wait. Sorry about the all day sickness, hopefully that ends soon. Are you going to find out what sex the baby is?

    omg yes! The sooner I can find out the better! I'm a planner and I can't wait to know. During my tww I noticed that my resting morning temp had risen to 98.2-4-7 range where it had normally been at 97.2 range and also I still had CM that wasn't normal to that day of my cycle. I never had implantation bleeding and my boobs were normally swollen and heavy before my period so that didn't help me b/c the trigger caused the same thing. I was really gassy and I didn't have my usual chocolate craving before my period so I knew something was going on!

    Just got my progesterone test results back, only an 8, the lowest one yet so I'm most likely not pregnant. I can't test until the 4th, 16 days after the trigger shot doc said. I'm getting so disgusted with the whole process but I still have a glimmer of hope that it may have worked this time. :(

    I goy my period last night so it didn't work. The doc wants to do clomid and I need to find another donor so I don't know if I'm going to continue right now or not.

    I'm sorry it didn't work this time. Hopefully things will turn around the next time you give it a try. is your doctor hoping that more eggs produced by the clomid will give you better odds?

    Artist - I decided I'm going to wait and get my period regulated and maybe find another clinic before I try again. One more try will be around another grand and I already have $3800 into this and getting nowhere. Plus I've been under alot of stress since I started this with my job, this process and my mom getting breast cancer and still going through treatment so maybe thats part of my problem.

    I'm so sorry to hear that about your mom. I know that her health and well being is of first concern and ttc is nothing BUT stress. I'm sure a new doctor will do you some good but try to relax and take care of yourself sweetie.

    I was just thinking about you guys. Yes, I am pregnant as well. I am just over 5 weeks, so it is still early. I used donor 2931. I got pregnant on the 3rd try with this donor and his count was low, only 5.6 million. So it may take a few tries, but just be patient and have faith. Keep me posted on your progress!

    I'm so happy for you both! I sure hope this time works for me. I also want a boy since I am gay, I wouldn't know what to do with all the girly stuff, lol, she'd definately be a tomboy. Seriously though just a healthy baby of any gender would be wonderful. I will keep you posted, should be happening around June 8th. :D

    Artist - I am taking the clomid, the doc wants to try that 3 times (hopefully it doesn't take that many) then if I don't get pregnant then I"ll have to do that test to check my tubes. I have been putting that off because of the cost. Are you still doing this on your own or do you have a partner?

    I'm still doing it on my own...I was involved with someone at the beginning about 2 months prior to my first consultation back in october but she got nervous at the thought of me having a baby...long story short, she's still around but I don't count her as being any form of real support. What about you? Have you met anyone since starting this journey?

    I haven't met anybody worth mentioning, not relationship material. A lot of people our age are still into hanging at the bars every night getting wasted, they don't work and have nothing going for them. I refuse to just settle like so many do because they can't find someone they really want to be with. I live in Davenport, IA not a big lesbian population.
