Things that make me go hmm is that all you ladies seem to be using the opks and I've never done it. Doc doesn't have me use those or take my temp. Maybe that's because I'm as regular as the tides unless seriously stressed. I kind of feel like I'm missing out on half the fun!
-
Hi Moonlit-I was regular as well but my doctor insisted on opks. On month 1 I ovulated on day 16 and month 2 I ovulated on day 13 so even though AF came every 28 days without fail, I still ovulated on different days. Hopefully your ovulation is as regular as AF!!

Hi D-rizzy. You have me worried now! How often does your doc do blood tests? I have blood drawn on cycle days 3, 10 & 14. If on day 14 the blood isn't right they won't thaw my sperm. I guess if I ovulated early, we would have to skip a cycle? I start betas on the first business day after cycle day 28 that I test positive. I tend to feel my ovulation, and I definitely felt something yesterday. I am seriously wishing we could have bought a few ici vials to do at home in addition to the iui vial. I really need this to work. Our roommate put in an offer on a house yesterday so if we aren't having kids, we might as well sell this big ole house.

I didn't mean to worry you!! It sounds like your doctor is using the blood tests instead of a opk. I didn't realize you were having frequent blood tests. I don't have any blood tests until I get a positive pregnancy test, then I go in for my first beta. What I have learned from this group is that every doctor seems to do things differently!!! I would trust blood more than peeing on a stick!! Good luck to you!!
-
Just like D-Rizzy said, no need to worry moonlitwish. I have the same bloodwork done like you do, I tried the OPK's a couple times and they always showed the pink line after I had started ovulating. So the multiple lab tests work much better. I just got a call about my progesterone level and I am at 15.0 which she said is very good, one more hell week to go :-)
-
Just finished my first ultrasound. The doctor thinks he saw the sac but isn't 100% sure. I go back next week
-
Thanks ladies. Sounds like my doc pulls out all the stops from the get go. Which is nice for efficiency, but also expensive.
-
I just got the call from my ob my progesterone level is 73! So I def ovulated!! I feel a weight off my shoulders. Though I don't know what the high number really means.
-
Lisa, that is great that you know for sure!
At the doctor's office today, he said that I am 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant. That didn't make sense to me since my IUI was 4 weeks ago. I asked for clarification and he said that they start counting from the day of my last period, without regards to the actual IUI date. Does that make sense to anyone?? -
Denise- I'm super excited. I can't believe your almost 6 weeks!! I never knew that's how they calculate it.
I want to take a HPT soo bad it's killing me!! But I'm only 5dpo -
It's a man's math. When you find out you are pregnant you are usually 4 weeks along because they count from the date the last period started as that is whent he eggs start to form!
Posh, don't do it. It won't tell you anything! -
I did it and it was a faint pos.. Which I know means NOTHING!!!
-
I'm soo weak!!!
-
I purposely don't buy any tests because I too am weak! Lol
-
I am also very regular with af. However my ovulation isn't so regular. So I go in on cd7 for a sonogram then cd10. They have also checked my progesterone to see if I have ovulated. I don't think the OPK's work for me. Last month it showed I was ovulating when I wasn't.
So I don't know what they are going to do this month.
-
Lisa!! I can't believe you tested! That is so funny!!
Texas, I hope they figure it out this month. That has got to be frustrating -
Tx- I think the opk's are kinda iffy. But I do feel usually when I ovulate and have found clear blue more reliable than any other. But I think the best predictor has been getting my ultrasound at day 11-12 then trigger a day or two after.

Hey! Everyone. I finally fiqured out how to get on here. The app is down again.
Just started AF...yay. Always a nice fresh start. Round 4 here we come. Hope you all are doing well. -
Great news callen!!
I can't get on the app either, not sure why they are having problems again -
They usually have me go in on Day 11 to check
Follicle size but thinking I should ask for day 12
And do day 13 & 14 back to back IUI 's
Any thoughts ? I would trigger the night of day 12.
I ovulate normally on day 14. -
Congrats Callen!! I know how great it feels to be out of the past and beginning the new!! I'm very excited for you!
-
Callen I think when you go on day 11 or 12 depending on your follicle size that day should give a good estimate on when you should trigger. Then the question is do iui 12 and 36 hours after trigger or do 24 and 48 hour after trigger. I did roughly 12 and 36 this month and on 36 they did the us and it showed I had collapsed follicles or released eggs I had ovulated before 36 hours after shot. So 12 and 36 hopefully will cover me. I feel so completely normal that I can't even tell the drugs are still in my system. Though for me ovulation time was extremely painful.
In other news. The EX asked me out for Saturday night. I'm hesitant because I'm not sure where this us going and don't want to get hurt feeling. I know I need to overcome that fear though and live life. I guess I answered my own question.
Anywho hope y'all have a great day!
Kisses

Thanks IPosh. I hope you are having a great day!!
Just remember to always follow your heart -
I finally found out how to use this thru the website . My app has been down on my phone . Today is 8 days since I did the iui and I still don't feel anything . I'm getting a lil anxious already.
-
Hope everyone is having a great day! I'm dying to get this week over with! Does anyone else sleep Horribly after their trigger? I think I flailed around like a fish out of water last night and woke up sweat drenched more than once.
-
To everyone in the TWW, you are 1/2 way there!!
-
Denise!!!!!!!!!!! How are you feeling?
-
Hi Pot!!
Thanks for asking! I am SO bloated and I have to pee all of the time. I really wish I could have seen my little bean at my doctor's visit this week but there is always next week!
When are you going to take your first home preg test? -
Thank you for reminding me that this TWW is half done. That darn progesterone test got looking up stuff and doing all kinds of stuff I didn't need to do. So I'm gonna try and sit back and relax again. Hopefully. It will be interesting to see what the fertility doc has to say Monday on my first consult.
Denise- are you feeling any nausea? It gets me soo excited to hear your new changes!
Pot- how are things going? I'm excited to see Dr. Straub Monday at rba.
Callen- are you doing clomid?
Moonlit- when I take clomid pills I get very hot and flush. Last month I slept horribly. I don't know if it was me being anxious and having pregnancy thought 24/7 or the meds. This month is not bad. Though I triggered with pregnyl this time but did profasi last time. I think they are just different brands of the hcg.
Hope everyone is well!
Kisses -
I test this morning, just to see if the Ovidrel was out of my system which it is. So, I will do my "hey am I pregnant" on Tuesday (My Dr. said this time it was okay to test on day 12. I wonder if it's because I had 7 freaking eggs that were mature and he thinks that the beta will be higher if more than one took? I am probably reading WAY too much into it though. Who knows though... I've tried not to think about it but it's impossible. I feel like I analyze everything... I took my bra off this evening and OMG my boobs hurt. A couple of drops of good (minimal) last night and this AM when I went to the bathroom. Who knows....
