On the UPSIDE of things...I found out Tuesday that I got a promotion at the office which is a new job and will bring me working from home half the week again. Can't wait... AND tomorrow is my last day of GRADUATE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!! SMH
And it's sounds like implantation bleeding. And don't feel alone in analyzing that. Sometimes I go to the bathroom just look at what's coming out of my vagina!! I don't even need to pee... Haha! I've had heavier discharge this month but don't know if it's just post meds or what? I guess we will all see next week!!
I chose not to do the Clomid this cycle but am still going to do Bravelle and Ovidrel. Of course with back to back IUI's.
Congrats!! On job and keeping fingers crossed for implantation. You also did 2 IUI's ?
7?!? I'm panicking over 2! Congrats though on both the job and the tell-tale drops of blood and the boob pain! I had boob pain that started with my trigger and didn't let up until the d&e for my pregnancy. I hurt so bad I considered sleeping in my bra.
Callen-good luck this cycle!
Who's the next to test? I still have 10 more days to wait
I need you to think really hard and give me all the details... Lol
Kisses
I'm new here - 38 yo single in Houston, TX. I hope I'm not violating any rules of posting - not in TWW just yet but anticipating it will be starting this week. I don't have much family (only child, mom died 2 months ago) and have only told a couple friends, so I'm just looking for someplace safe to chat about all of this. I selected my sperm donor from Fairfax and just discovered this message board.
This will be my first try at conceiving. I had an abdominal myomectomy for some really big uterine fibroids in 5/2014; I started seeing a fertility specialist in 7/2014. During my initial work-up, my AMH was low but FSH and imaging (HSG) all looked fine. On day 2 of my cycle this month (8/11), I had 11-12 developing follicles and normal uterine lining, so my doctor gave me the go-ahead to start injectables (Gonal-F) on day 3 of my cycle. Today is day 7 of cycle and estrogen levels are increasing appropriately. My doctor is having me come back in tomorrow morning for a repeat estrogen and ultrasound; the nurse said that if I have mature follicles, I could be doing my triggering injection (Ovidrel) as early as tomorrow night.
I'm very nervous/excited! Things have been rough since my mom's death in 6/2014. I decided to move forward with my plans for IUI despite that loss; I hope I'm not setting myself up for more pain.
Looking forward to getting to know you all,
Houston
Went back to clinic today and found estrogen is still rising appropriately. I have 4 promising follicles (two 15mm, two 12mm). Doc told me to cut my Gonal-F dose in half tonight and let them cook a bit longer; I'm to go back to clinic tomorrow morning. They are telling me that I will be doing my trigger injection (Ovidrel) tomorrow night (cycle day 9), which means my first IUI will be on Wednesday 8/20. Exciting!!
Hope everyone else is doing well (and that someday my posts will show up)!
I'll keep you guys updated.
My prayers are with everyone this week! Try to stay as positive as you can until you know it is negative for sure. This is a confusing, complicated, frustrating process but I truly believe having positive thoughts is important. It definitely doesn't hurt, that's for sure!
Good luck this week to everyone!
Kisses
Anyhow, doc said to do the triggering shot of Ovidrel tonight at 11pm; I'll then have my first IUI on Wednesday 8/20 at 11am. Exciting!
Is anyone else getting ready to start their TWW?
Good luck to everyone testing this week!
Kisses
Lisa
Why do you feel like things aren't looking good for your most recent IUI? Just a gut feeling or some physical symptoms? I'm not sure what to even look for during the TWW.
Lisa, I really really hope your Bad feeling is wrong! Thinking sticky baby dust at you!
