Congrats!! How many attempts before a positive?
-
Thank you! 2 attempts (IUI), got lucky on the second.
-
I am 13 weeks with this donor.
-
Congrats to you as well taball!! Did he have good counts for you both? How many attempts for you taball?
-
Thanks! I am excited.
Mine had 16 million and I got it on the first try. -
Very good counts! When are you planning to try?
Taball- how have you been feeling? -
We are going to have our first iui in august. Me and my wife went on a trip to st Thomas and our doctor wanted us to wait 8 weeks after the trip due to the high risk area for Zika. Can't wait to get started!!

I am feeling much better now that the first trimester is over. I had bad fatigue, headaches, bloating, gas, Losing weight. Diagnosed pre-diabetic so I am watching that now. Now I am fine. I still get headaches. I just told everyone because I am showing now and can't hide it anymore. I found out it is a boy and so far the NIPT results were normal. I go back in 4 weeks for a level 2 ultrasound to confirm. I actually have twins but one did not make it. It is hanging around though...
How about you A&HCA? -
So, I officially have my first IUI with Donor 4991 on Wednesday morning. I have a few questions for those of you who have been through the IUI process. First, I'm a pretty physically active individual. Did any of you workout during your TWW, and if so, what types of exercise did you do? Second, a week after my IUI I am traveling to Hawaii to visit friends. Did any of you fly during the TWW, and if so, did you go through the x-ray machine? I may be drastically over analyzing all of this, but figured it couldn't hurt to check

Good Questions.
I ran a 10k and trained up to 5 weeks pregnant. At 6 weeks I was too weak and fatigued to do anything. I haven't started back yet. I just do long walks.
As far as traveling, I travel a lot out of the country and have been to London, Vancouver, and different places in the US and I am now 4 months. My doctor gave me a book on Pregnancy and the dos and dont's and everything about air travel is safe until 36 weeks of pregnancy. You should get one also from your doctor once you get a positive result.
During the TWW the fertilized egg has not really developed enough to cause any damage. It's after the implantation in the uterus that it starts to matter more. -
Hi, Ladies!
I am contemplating between #4991 and #4791 via IVF. (My IUI with another donor did not result in a positive after 4 tries.)
I love both of these donors. Does anyone have adult photo or more baby pics of either donor?
Also, are there any secret FB groups for Fairfax?? Thanks.
I will cycle next month with IVF mid-August. -
I've seen in the past the Fairfax web manager respond to requests for pictures with a reminder that according to the terms of service the images of donors cannot be shared, just to warn you.

It is illegal for us to share photos and information about the donors. We also paid quite a bit money to get that access. I would suggest paying to get the info.

My partner and I are 9 weeks today using this donor. My first IUI with 10 mil and I got pregnant. Super grateful! Love hearing all of your experiences.
-
Congrats!! We should be doing our first iui with this donor next week, nervous but very excited!!
-
My first attempt failed, so starting cycle 2 this week. He had good counts the first round though, 19 million.

Did any of you experience a lot of cramping after your iui?
-
Yes, after my first IUI, I cramped the entire day. I then had mild cramps - kind of like pre-menstrual cramps - for two weeks until I started my period.

I did not, but I was told to take Tylenol or ibuprofen an hour before to not relieve any cramping pain. -
Yep, the first IUI I had cramps for several days. The second IUI (the one that worked) I only had a few minor cramps here and there the first week. The second week I felt bloated as if I were on my period. Turns out there was a sticky bean in there instead!
Best of luck to you guys! How are you guys feeling?
-
This go around I haven't been feeling too many pangs or cramps, which at least makes it less of a constant thought
Not sure what the outcome will be though as I had to trigger on day 9 because I had a 30mm follicle (possibly cyst) on the right ovary, a 18mm and 13mm on the left, and a 5.5mm lining. I guess we will see on 8/24 - staying positive

I just ordered 4 IUI vials of donor 4991. I was told there was 1-5 pregnancies confirmed with this donor. I will have my first IUI this month and I'm excited and nervous.
