    So I am officially in the Tww. My second IUI was yesterday. The doctor told me my cervix looked great and was definatly ready. Also the nurse told me the wrong sperm count for the first IUI. His numbers were good this time. It was 16m the first day and 15m yesterday. Here's hoping I get a bfp on 12/2.

    I was reading back and I'm glad ur wife found a job! The emotional roller coaster is hard but just remember everything happens for a reason and we will all get a bfp when the time is right.

    If you don't mind me asking does your health insurance cover any fertility? Is it only the cost of sperm that's setting you back?

    No my insurance doesn't cover fertility, and overall my insurance is really good, that is the one thing it doesn't cover. The bloodwork and ultrasounds are covered though thank goodness. So out of pocket I have to pay about $300 for meds, $380 for IUI procedure, $105 for co-pays and roughly $1200 a month for sperm. So needless to say my medical bills are creeping up there. I put away the maximum amount in FSA and went thru all of that. I took this month off per the doctors request to give my ovaries a rest. Any other month I had to take off this year after my miscarriage in April was due to overstimulation and more follicles than they were comfortable with. I am sure right after I am done having babies fertility insurance will be a mandatory coverage :-)

    Got the smiley face today. Go tomorrow for try #2. Hoping the cyst on my left ovary doesn't cause a problem. No one seemed worried about it at the doctors office. Here we go again! Good Luck everyone!

    I agree fertility coverage should be mandatory. I'm guessing you do back to back (2) IUI's a month?

    I did do the back to back a couple of times until they started having me do the Ovidrel shot and more ultrasounds to keep an eye on my follicles to see when they were ready for sure.

    I'm currently on 10dpiui.... I think I might go nuts with symptoms spotting and analyzing. I'm trying not to over analyze... But it's hard. The only symptoms I have been having since approx 4dpiui is cramping around right ovary, the side my mature follicle was. Other then that not really anything else. I did give in a test and got BFN :( but I do know it's still early and a few days can change many things.

    Beecee, I think we all go a little nuts! Today should be day 1 if this IUI was not successful. I have been cramping off and on but really try not to over analyze. My body hasn't felt "normal" since I've been taking hormones. I have been anxiously going to the bathroom what seems like every 30 mins to see if there will be a surprise and nothing yet! I will take a test first thing in the morning if AF doesn't come by then. Good luck!!

    Sending you good vibes for tomorrow morning and hoping AF stays away :) My official day 1 should be Wednesday... Let's see if AF also stays away :) I did a natural cycle and only had the HCG trigger shot, I tested at 7dpiui to see if it was out of my system and it was.

    Congrats Kerri!!! My friend was going through adoption and she finally got the call last week so I got to go see him today. I told him to rub some baby mojo off on my tummy!!!! I have another 5 days post IUI and have been having some cramping today. Other than that no real signs of anything. The cramps are probably all in my head. Good luck ladies.

    Well AF came last night, I was very anxious all day yesterday and started to get excited. This is only the second time in a year and a half that my cycle has gone 30 days. So onto the next attempt next month. My partners birthday falls on thanksgiving this year and there was nothing more that I wanted to give her than a BFP!

    Sorry to hear krsb16.... But unfortunately AF decided to also show her ugly face today for me too :( and now I have to wait until January to try again since the lab at my clinic is closed for a good part of December :( The only good side, will be able to drink wine at Christmas. Hope next month will be your month and I will back in the dreaded 2ww come the new year.

    My 2nd IUI resulted in a BFN, so I'm scheduled for my 3rd IUI tomorrow. If this one isn't successful, I'm moving on to IVF. Patience is not my forte.

    Morning ladies! So I have joined the TWW. I am only 2DPIUI, which is my first IUI and I am trying not to freak out with the process. I had the +OPK on Wednesday morning, so I called my doctor and was scheduled to go in that morning, but when I went to the lab, my vials were not ready so I had to come back an hour later. When I did I was told that one of the vials wasn't washed (as it looked different from the other one and the lab thought that it wasn't IUI ready) and it would be another hour. Come to find it was just stored differently than the other one, so it looked different. However, I had to wait another hour to find that out. As you can imagine my anxiety level which was already high just increased even more. I tried not to start second guessing myself and focus on the goal! I finally went in Wednesday afternoon and had the IUI ...quick, simple and now I onto the TWW. Hopefully, with the crazy start to this process and keeping focused on the prize, I will get a BFP in another 12 days! Lots of Baby dust to all those in or soon to be in the TWW! Anyone else have a crazy experience before, during or after their procedure? Who else is in their TWW?:)

    No, but I am on the Progesterone suppositories now. 4/5th day now. Is it normal to feel tired and period cramps? I'm not sure if this is AF coming soon or the suppositories. Also they didn't give me an applicator that I heard these suppositories should be inserted with. Does that matter? 😒

    I did have an applicator, don't know if it makes a difference as long as you can get the suppository up there. I did not have any of those symptoms either. I did however have itching and discharge. I thought I actually had gotten a yeast infection. That's why I'm taking the crinone progesterone gel this time. Also I have no answer for the pregnancy test, I try not to take them. However I'm seriously thinking about taking one this time. My blood test is tomorrow.
