Positive home pregnancy test this morning!!!!
  • JamieMU01JamieMU01 Junior Member Junior Member
After a failed vasectomy reversal, my husband & I opted to use a donor to help me become a mommy...

I was on 100mg Clomid on cd 3-7. My ultrasound last Friday showed 3 mature follicles (23, 18, 17). I triggered on Saturday night and had my 1st IUI yesterday morning (37 hours later).

Post-wash showed 100million/ml with 40% motility and a grade of 2-3. Doc said that was great for frozen, but I guess we won't know for another two weeks.

Having some cramping and a little spotting but otherwise I feel great and am doing my best to stay really positive.

Wishing all of you a BFP very soon!

So what's next? Do you go for serial betas or just relax and be pregnant? The last sounds better actually. Omg your pregnant!! I love the thought of it!!
Okay my opk is telling me flashy smile so my plan is still on to shoot up tomorrow then my piggy backs Thursday and Friday. Denise did you do yours at 12 and 36 or 25 and 48? My doc was saying do either but I was leaning toward the 12 and 36.

Posh- what hospital? Just need to know where to ask someone to reroute me if I ever get taken in...

Congrats everyone. So exciting. My IUI's are Wed/Thursday at 9:40. Legs crossed we get pregnant as well, but hopefully no more than just twins since I have 7 follicles to deal with.
  • nyflynyfly Member Member
Lol. I heart u guys. Kerri, I just laughed! I am crossing very thing for good luck for you all.
Lisa, all i do is sleep - and work. I feel well other than being exhausted all the time.

So, my visit didn't go super well yesterday. First they couldn't see yolk sack but it's really early but then My beta was 366 at week 5 day 4. A week before it was 177 and had doubled since my first beta of 77. They were kinda just like wait and see til next week but I panicked and called my reg. obgyn and she said that isn't great. So I'm kinda a hot mess.
    I go back Monday. Bhlehk
  • lposhlposh Senior Member Senior Member
Ny is the concern the sac or the beta's. How often are they supposed to double? I'll shoot this over to a doc friend of mine and see what she knows.
    Kisses
  • lposhlposh Senior Member Senior Member
Ny I texted a female resident and female attending about it. I'll let you what they think. Though they are ER Trauma docs.
    Kisses and don't stress.
  • nyflynyfly Member Member
Thanks, Lisa. The beta is more the worry at 366. They did it on 4w1day 77 then two days later is was 144 seven days later it was 366. I asked to go back in b/ f weekend for some peace of mind.
  • lposhlposh Senior Member Senior Member
I don't know if I'd worry. Cause what is it double in 72 hours. Plus it's so early. But I'll let you know what they say when I hear back from them.
    Kisses
  • D-rizzyD-rizzy Senior Member Senior Member
Just got my first beta, 87. Next one on Thursday
  • nyflynyfly Member Member
    Great news, Denise!

Thanks Lisa, I'm going in Thursday as I emailed doc and she said she was concerned as well. I'll
Keep you posted. You go in for iui weds/thurs?
  • janbabyjanbaby Senior Member Senior Member
    Congrats D-rizzy!
  • POT03005POT03005 Senior Member Senior Member
Sounds like good news is starting to spread across this thread! That's a great thing! Fly- will be looking forward to hearing what your Dr. says thursday as well as you Denise!

I do my first IUI of round 4 tomorrow!
  • lposhlposh Senior Member Senior Member
Denise that's an official "your pregnant"!!! I love it.
Pot- I work at Grady. I do love it there. I did Scottish Rite ER for 8 years prior too. Are you giving your own self the shot? I do dread that part. Last month I gave it to myself and felt like I instantly was going to vomit. I can do it fine to others but hate having to give it to myself. I'm doing my shot tomorrow at midnight. And if we both have twinzies I'd be ecstatic.
Ny- my girlfriend resident said she's going to get back to me and my attending has responded back yet. I'm glad though you were proactive and emailed your doc. I'm praying everything is going to be fine.
    Kisses
    Lisa

Jan and Pot good luck and baby dust to you both tomorrow.

I have had several friends work for Grady as Paramedics or EMT not sure, they can push drugs is all I know. One of them is still there... I would be you know her. I could never work with little kids, a sick or seriously hurt child pulls on my heartstrings. I did have a professor in college who also worked at Scottish Rite in the sick ward children don't typically come out of. She was a nurse as well (with a TON of abbreviations after her name) she said the nursing job was her calling and her teaching job was for sanity and a dose of the real world.

I am going to give myself the shot in a few minutes. It doesn't bother me at all. I did it last month sitting pool side with a bunch of friends! :) I am actually glad you said something or I may have forgotten! OMG!!! Isn't Grady our only level 1 trauma center? I bet you have seen some stuff is all I can say.
