Not yet. They require that you have the nursery completely set up before you are licensed. That's a tough emotional step to have a nursery in your house for potentially months before finding out if you are getting a child. I have 6 months to complete my application. I'm starting to gather the data but will likely hold off for another month or two -
well it is official i am in my next tww with my lucky number 9. I am so hopeful and so sure that this is going to be my time. I have done all i can to make this happen. I ate my pineapple, i elevated my hips and i have said my prayers

My tww officially doesnt start until tomorrow. We are doing back to back iuis and my trigger was last night so today was for extra luck but tomorrow was the real deal. -

I'm so excited for each of you ladies who are currently in your TWW and I'm sending lots of positive energy your way for sticky baby dust! I just had my HSG yesterday afternoon and everything looked great- no blockages or issues anywhere- so I'm now in my own little "waiting period," so that I can attempt my first IUI with January's cycle. Lots of luck to everyone

Having an iui on 12-13 and 12-14 sounds lucky! If you and 12 and 13 you get 25! That sounds like a Christmas miracle in the making!

This is my second iui. I am in day 6 of the 2 week wait. Doctor just put me on Estradiol and Prometrium. Has anyone been on these meds? Did they help?

Hi all! I'm brand new here, but admit that I've been reading/lurking for awhile. Just finished 2nd medicated IUI cycle and came out with a BFN without even making the full two weeks. Its so expensive to do this, won't even get another chance for several more months, and times wasting away as I'm already 35. Very disappointed, and wishing the best for those of you on your 2WWs.

Thank you ladies. I'm on round 8. I started my meds and go in tomorrow to see how I'm progressing. I'm claiming a New Year's baby! I WILL get a BFP and keep the pregnancy in 2012!

Well I trigger tonight and inseminate both tomorrow (New Year's Day) and again on the 2nd. Wish me luck for round 8! I have 3 good follis and am claiming my Baby New Year!

Afternoon, ladies!! I just wanted to stop in to say that I had an ultrasound and blood work this morning... My doctor said everything looks great and even saw 1 really good follicle maturing on it's own in my right ovary
I'm starting on 50mg Clomid tomorrow for 5 days, then come back for more blood work and my sonogram on 1/15, will hopefully trigger that night, and the tentative date for my FIRST IUI is 1/17! I joined Club Fairfax today, ordered 2 vials from my donor (got free shipping via local courier plus $25 off - thanks, Anne!)! Sooo super-excited!! -

I have heard and seen many women testing on DPO# Day 9 or 10 or 12 etc.. I have seen women posting on youtube that they test themselves 2 to 4 times before the end of the TWW. I am fairly still new to the process of IUI's but I was told to test on day DPO# 14 or even 3 to 5 days after your missed period.
When should you test before your TWW, on the last day of your TWW, or after day one of your missed period?
Any advice ladies?

It all depends on when you implant. If you implant earlier, you will get a positive test earlier. But you can implant up to 12 days post IUI. I have a good friend who is due in 4 weeks, and she tested negative on day 13 and positive day 14! The biggest thing to keep in mind if you test early is that your negative could still turn into a positive! -
Alright, so I just went through this whole TWW thing for the first time and honestly it only got bad towards the middle or the end for me. About 9dpo I had nausea in the morning which, for me is extremely odd. (I have an iron stomach) Then on 10dpo I had morning nausea again. So on 11dpo when I felt sick again, I decided to POAS. My rational was, if I am using the 5 days early test and I am experiencing these symptoms then it must show in my urine. HOWEVER, on 11dpo I got BFN, on 12dpo BFN, on 13dpo again- BFN. At 14dpo with a 5 days early test, my hope was crushed with another BFN. SO, in the process of starting over I took a Blood HCG and my Dr. ended up texting me to call her in her office. The news was... IT WAS POSITIVE!!! It took 4 days past my positive blood test to show on the Urine tests! DON'T Trust them! However, I know nobody could have talked me out of taking those tests, I'd probably still do it again BUT at least this time I would know how unreliable they can be.

Congratulations on getting a BFP on your first round! So happy for you. I go for my blood test on Sunday - round 8. I stopped POAS with round 5. Praying for a BFP this time! -
CONGRATS, again, SaraBell! I told myself that I was NOT going to POAS during my TWW, no matter how bad I got the urge... Getting sooo excited as the day approaches!

Round 8 is a BFN.
I'm gearing myself up to start round 9. I just finished reading the Fertilty Diet. I already eat really healthily but I love milk. Going to hard to cut back on the 2-3 glasses of skim milk that I drink every day. -
Insemination day tomorrow and then to my 2WW. It has been awhile since I have been able to try and excited for this round and that I found this forum! Am going to take advantage of the support this time.
Can anyone tell what the 'Pineapple thing' is?? :?: Don't want to miss out on doing something if will help! Thanks :!:
