I'm going to try to post pictures now...
I know it's been a looooong time since anyone has heard from me and I apologize for that, especially if anyone was worried or wondering what happened. Long story short, I decided to take a break from the infertility roller coaster back in 06/2012 after my third failed IUI. My RE advised that I should go the route of IVF but he agreed to a 6 month hiatus because I wanted to give my new relationship the time it needed to grow and blossom without the added stress of trying to conceive. I'm happy to report that, while I'm still holding off on moving forward with the IVF at this time, we are discussing our options- including freezing embryos for later use.
I do still hop on the forums from time to time so that I can stay up-to-date with how things are going and I'm thrilled each time I hear of a birth or BFP from anyone/everyone who offered me support through my own journey... I haven't heard much from Charlotte since her little guy was born but I hope he's doing well, and I'm excited for Anne's bundle of joy to arrive.
Love and light and blessings to you all!
Jaime
My goodness so much has happened since i have been MIA. I am so happy to throw a BIG congratulations to my first forum friend MOE on her beautiful baby girl. She is stunning and you must be overjoyed. I just love her full head of hair!!! Are you going to be a bow mama? i have to admit i love a big boy on a baby girl.
My sweet little guy is doing great although he is not so little anymore. He is now about 13 pounds and just really thriving being at home. We are just overjoyed with life and also overtired too. I recommend all the soon to be mamas and almost soon to be mamas get their sleep now..its amazing how little you get when they come around LOL
I think about all of you often and pray nightly for all of you with my little guy. I know i need to be better about keeping in touch. YOu all were my lifeline when i was trying to get pregnant. Your kindness and prayers have always been near and dear to my heart.
Anne keep up the good work mama. I am so impressed with how well you are doing. YOu are a true inspiration to me. Robin your guy is absolutely precious and i have a long email coming to you on our updates. Mary how is A doing? I miss your stories and you too have lots of updates coming your way
Jamie, latebloomer and the rest of the gang. Miss you all and hope and pray all is well
xoxo

Char and Jaime, so good to hear from both of you! Best of luck to you both and thank you for checking in
Anne, you're next! That train is getting closer and closer to the station! Can't wait to hear all about it!
2013 is looking up for us ladies so hang in there because we'll all get there soon!
Jamie, glad to hear from you and to hear things are going well in your relationship.
Charlotte so glad to hear from you and I am waiting for my email! Your little guy is 13 pounds?! Great to hear my guy is 17.5 pounds. Can't wait to hear the updates!
Ladies I know our journeys have all been long. Once we achieve our goal of motherhood. Time flies! It is crazy how while on the journey every tww felt like a year but once your lo arrives you blink and a month has gone by
Moe cherish these moments with Kennedy bc before you know it she will be exerting her independence!
Robin
Char - glad to hear P is growing gangbusters!!! That makes my heart smile in a big way. Looking forward to the update. And yeah... newborn tired is something you can't get until you get... hope he's sleeping longer periods of time now!
Robin you are so right - the cliche is that the days are long but the years are short. Today we were at the playground and our neighbors were there. She has a 4 year old girl and an adorable little boy. I remember when she got pregnant with him... and now he's 18 months old... and I was thinking wait? how is this possible... My boy was just 18 months old... how can this be? I really did mean it too... But I am planning a 3rd birthday party. And it just boggles my mind how fast the time flies. I'm just glad I have so many pictures and videos so I can enjoy him at a variety of ages! And he LOVES to watch videos of when he was 'baby aidan'.
Looking forward to hearing about the next little girl to make her way into the world and Anne, praying it's a smooth delivery and she's super healthy!
Also looking forward to 2013 being a year of as much success as 2012 was on this forum - it's always such fun to see someone get that bfp!!
I have been keeping tabs on all of you ladies, but have slowed down with posting anything about myself. I'm still in the process of saving some money for IVF meds. But it's for the best because I have doing things to take care of my physical self until the rest of the money is saved up. In the meantime ladies, please keep us in the loop as to how things are progressing with your little ones.
All the Best and and Many Blessings,
Pauline
I have a growth ultrasound today to see how big she is - they want to check since I have insulin-dependent gestational diabetes. No 10-pounder for me please! Then fetal testing again on Friday. I was joking yesterday with my mom that yesterday was my only day this week without a doctor's appoint and I was feeling lonely, hence the false alarm
Moe, I hope you are settling in well and little Kennedy is doing great.
Everyone else, I still keep you in my prayers for success in this journey!
Good luck to you!
Robin
Well the ultrasound went well. They saw no signs of excess growth from the diabetes and measured her at 6lb 14oz. If I make it to my due date she should be right around 8-8.5lbs.
Anne, thankfully all went well! You are so strong and your little fighter is just as strong as momma. Have you made a list of names yet? It's so funny that I was convinced Kennedy was a boy! I even has a boy name posted on the nursery wall. It took me a few days to peel the stickers off the wall after we came home from the hospital. :-) I had to make a run to Target to return some of the boy clothes I purchased LOL. She had us all fooled. I even asked everyone in the room what the gender was just before my last push. They all said BOY. When they fliped her over and said girl, I said WHAT?? Then I looked at her and named her right away when the OB asked me her name. She was so alert and looked me right in the eyes when they put her on my chest.
Charlotte I'm so happy to hear from you after all of these months!!! Your are an inspiration to all of us that have been on the crazy journey! I would love to see pictures of your little....well not so little man! Congratulations, and may God continue to strengthen him and your bond!
I cannot believe she's finally here and changing so much so quickly! Still waking up at all times during the night and sleeping most of the day. It's hard to keep her awake during the day but that should get better within the next few weeks.
I want to thank all of you ladies for the wonderful well wishes and compliments. I will post pictures next week...maybe she will start to look like mommy then :-)
Be well and be encouraged!! It will happen for you when the time is right!
Momma Moe
Everything is ready. I have her name picked, the nursery ready, my bag is in the car!
Wishing you a safe and speedy delivery Anne!! It seems like a lifetime ago since I had a belly. Kennedy is just over 3 weeks old and time has certainly flown by quickly. It sounds like you're ready to roll!! I'm so happy for you and cannot wait to hear about your birth experience and see pictures of your princess.
Good Luck!
Moe
Wonderful news Anne!! Congratulations and welcome to the new mommy's club. Bailey is a great name and she came exactly one month after Kennedy :-) Enjoy this next chapter in your life and remember to savor each moment. (Oh and remember to fill out the paperwork for her birth certificate and social security card).
Let's see some pictures proud mommy!!
All the best!
Moe
Too all the ladies reading this......all these women are the strongest around! When you feel like giving up......go back and read some of the old posts on this forum. They will give you hope and inspiration! Keep the faith and your thoughts positive!
Baby dust to all and many warm hugs to all these mommies and babies!
Robin
I'm head over heels in love.
Robin
Anne congrats on getting some sleep this early in the game. Glad that Bailey is getting the nutrition she needs! I was nervous when Kennedy lost 6% of her birth weight within the few days after she was born. Thankfully her bilirubin was good so no jaundice. Every situation is different and you do what's best for your precious angel. No guilt because it's what is necessary!
Remember the challenges you faced to get to this point and celebrate each moment. Congrats momma!!!
All the best!
Moe
