I pee my triggers out in 5-6 days. My meds are coming on the 16th I'm now nervous I'll start my period before they come and not be able to start this month. My period really isn't supposed to start till 23rd. But I'm not on clomid this month which has been making my cycles 30-31 days. I know I need to stop worrying. Damn it if it's not one worry it's another. Ugh.

This waiting for AF seems longer than my tww, it's taking forever. I should start around the 15th. The first time in a long time I actually want her to show up.
  • ck2014ck2014 Member Member
Hang in there everybody, we got this! I am cramping myself and paranoid about getting AF, but then I tell myself I can't change what will be anyway so I need to relax.

    Welcome to the wait Tina!
I'll be joining the tww on Wed or thurs. My eggs are really small though so the doc has me doing injections for another 2 days and another monitoring on Tuesday. I do have 1 egg on each side that is maturing. Let me tell you they are hurting too. I think even if we weren't out of monies I would have to take a break to let my ovaries rest.
Regarding the trigger: I pee mine out in 8 days too.
We didn't buy anything baby when we found out last pregnancy but my inlaws did. They went to St Maarten and bought the most adorable onsie souvenier. We found out the next week we were going to lose the baby :( so we are NOT doing that again.

Oh moon, my heart sunk as I read those last few sentences. I'm sorry.

Good Luck this time around. Positive energy coming your way!
  • callencallen Member Member
    Good Luck Moon!!!!
So sorry about before. I am feeling like AF is on it's way again. Arghhhhh
  • lposhlposh Senior Member Senior Member
Callen- I hope the AF doesn't come.
I've had a hard day today. When I woke up I just didn't feel like I could get up mentally. I haven't felt this way in a long time. But it's that depression feeling. It's hard to see that hey we all have bad days or this is just temporary. It's like not wanting to participate in my own life. The frustrating part is I have nothing to be sad about. Nothing happened.

I so appreciate all of the women in this thread. Your candid words, thoughts, frustration and celebrations are all appreciated as we all travel through our own journey. I'm grateful to be on here and to read them.

Tomorrow I will be 11 days post iui #2. I couldn't stand it and took a test this morning with a BFN. I felt defeated. Now after reading your posts and I'm feeling more hopeful. I'll try to keep my thoughts positive until I know something more certain. As we all know, it's difficult.

Here's to hearing more positive news...

just turned 41 last week and single in KC
  • ck2014ck2014 Member Member
Welcome! Wishing you a BFP any day now :)
  • D-rizzyD-rizzy Senior Member Senior Member
Happy Monday everyone!! I am hoping for positive tests for everyone testing this week!! Lisa, are you feeling any better today?
  • callencallen Member Member
So I tested this am and got a BFN!!! :(
Lisa I really hoping you are feeling better.
  • janbabyjanbaby Senior Member Senior Member
Sorry to hear that Callen :-(
  • lposhlposh Senior Member Senior Member
Callen. I'm sorry to hear that. Sending you a cyber hug! What is next?
Jenna- it's still early to test if your 11 days. Denise didn't get her positive till after 14 days or 15 days. Hang in there. I'll be thinking of you.
    As for my crazy ass-
So I do feel better. Yesterday when I woke up feeling crappy I didn't take my meds all day. Idk why or if I forgot. But this morning when I woke up I took them right away and then felt better in an hour or so. I'm such a dumb ass. Maybe it was not helping I hadn't taken my meds all day yesterday.
Anywho. I'm back to feeling MY normal again.
I have about two more weeks till IVF and I cannot flippin wait! It's like another TWW! I'm just so excited to try something that might actually work for me.
    Hope everyone is doing well!
Thank you all for checking on me it means a lot.
    Kisses

Callen that sucks, I'm so sorry!
Lisa I'm glad you're feeling better! In truth, I have days like that too, so I can completely sympathize. I'm excited for you on the Ivf. I have a real life friend starting that too. She's real nervous about the drugs and the new doctor. She had to switch when her new insurance kicked in that gave her infertility coverage.
I read the side effects of the FSH and realized I'm having all of them except sudden weight gain. That's a plus! One more day... Then I can fight the Ovidrel side effects! Woohoo!
Please god somebody have more happy news. I'm starting to crack!
Denise, Kerri-any morning sickness yet? More weird cravings?
    Jenna welcome to the group!
  • D-rizzyD-rizzy Senior Member Senior Member
    Hi!
No morning sickness or cravings for me but I have my first food aversion. Guacamole!! I used to love it, now it turns my stomach just looking at it. Haha! Otherwise, nothing out of the ordinary for me

So I got my positive OPK on Friday. That evening I started getting cramping like I was ovulating on the right side, which was the side the doctor said was mature. I had my IUI Saturday morning. Well Sunday night and all day today I have cramping on my left side like I'm ovulating on the left side now. Is it possible that if I am ovulating on the left that there would be sperm still viable to fertilize the egg? (that is assuming it could make it up the blocked fallopian tube)
  • POT03005POT03005 Senior Member Senior Member
TX- I had my IUI's on a Wednesday/Thursday but at my appointment Friday they said based on the ultrasound I got pregnant on Friday. So if you are ovulating on your left side now you still have a good chance.

I am not as lucky as D-Rizzy, I have been throwing up since Saturday afternoon!!!
  • D-rizzyD-rizzy Senior Member Senior Member
I had a similar situation as Kerri. I had a positive ovulation test on Friday and went for IUIs om Saturday and Sunday. At week 6 my doctor said he thinks I actually ovulated on Monday or Tuesday so he pushed my due date back a few days. There is definitely a chance Texas!!
  • txgrl74txgrl74 Senior Member Senior Member
hmmmmm......that's not good then.....my left ovary is blocked 99.9%. I'm thinking the sperm won't make it.
  • D-rizzyD-rizzy Senior Member Senior Member
You can still inseminate on the right though even if it a few days later
  • ck2014ck2014 Member Member
For the ladies who said they got pregnant the day after their IUI's, I thought frozen/thawed sperm only lives in the body for up to 6 hours, if that's correct how did you get pregnant the next day?

    Quick update on me-
The ovidrel from the 2nd injection that was prescribed due to low progesterone (5.5) is out of my system as of today (took 5 1/2 days). AF is due Friday. Last month I got AF 5 days early which freaked my out b/c I'm a 28 day cycle, but my nurse said the ovidrel pushes it up. Anyway 5 days before Friday is today. Nothing yet, thank God, but yesterday and today I've had major cramping.

    Staying positive!
  • lposhlposh Senior Member Senior Member
Eww.. Kerri I'm soo sorry you feel nauseated! Can they give you some zofran or something? I heard if you eat something as soon as you wake up that helps. Like having crackers by your bedside.
Denise- message me your address. I wanna send you something. Yes it's something baby. No it's not to early. But if you want me to wait till after your first trimester I totally will.
Ck- how many day post iui are u now?
Oh in other news- yes it's 245 here and I have no idea why I am awake but I stopped seeing the ex. I just realized it wasn't healthy. No I didn't want to be back with him but I was starting to get feeling again and it's a dead end. So I was only going to waste my time continuing the charade. I told him I did value our friendship but wanted ultimately to be with someone that I love and vise versa. I care about our friendship but need some space.
So as soon as I did that I met this guy brian. I have a date with him tonight or tomorrow depending on how I feel after work. I'll keep u updated!
Well maybe I'll try to snooze for another hour or two before I have to get up.
    Kisses

I am 10 & 9 days post iui today. & I think you made a good decision with the ex. Now to move on to bigger and better, more promising things! Good Luck on your date!!!
  • lposhlposh Senior Member Senior Member
Thanks! I totally went to work today and realized when I got there I wasn't supposed to be there till tomorrow!! So needless to say I'm off today so I might meet new guy today.. Lol
And CK it's still way early to get a positive. But your in the home stretch! Fingers and legs crossed for you!
  • ck2014ck2014 Member Member
That's awesome Lisa! Last week a friend posted on FB a picture of her daughter titled "all dressed up (for school) and no where to go"- she got the 1st day of school wrong so brought her for no reason lol
  • MoonlitwishMoonlitwish Member Member
Kerri, I'm sorry you got the sickness! Hopefully it will be short lived and you can relax the rest of your pregnancy.
Lisa!!! So exciting you met someone! I just got butterflies for you.
    Fingers crossed for you ck!
I myself am laying on the RE's table after my *early* iui. After reviewing my bloodwork he was afraid my body was gonna ovulate without the trigger if we waited until tomorrow and I think I ovulated on the left side a couple hours ago. It hurt. This is the final rally ladies! If this one happens to be a dud I'll have to start soliciting my male friends for one night stands! Gag... I have 2 eggs and it is one on each side this time so as long as the boys make a turn, they can't fail! At least that's what I'm telling myself. This is the first iui I've done alone. Brit couldn't get here and back to work in time :( what a whirlwind this process is. If I wasn't already nuts, I would be before it was over!
Tex crossing my fingers for you!!
  • ck2014ck2014 Member Member
Yay Moon! All is great and so is your iui. Positive thinking all the way!

I had my 1st acupuncture treatment today. Ah so relaxing. Recommend it to all!
  • janbabyjanbaby Senior Member Senior Member
Can't wait to hear more positive results ladies! Moon you cracked me up on your "gag" comment about asking one of your guy friends....it's not that bad I promise! Lol. Hopefully this time works and you won't have to "take one for the team" :-) I know what it's like though banking on your last try for awhile. I have one last try before I have to buy some more too so I am hoping it goes well also. I just meet another great bunch of ladies that have the same donor as my son, we started our own private FB page to share pics and stories it's very cool to meet such awesome people who experience the same thing you do. Good luck to all my TWW family!!!

Has anyone experienced Ovidrel delaying your period? Last month Ovidrel pushed mine up by 5 days, this month I've felt the symptoms of AF starting Sunday, but still nothing. It's not due until Friday, but I usually don't have symptoms that far in advance, maybe a day at the most. Just wondering what your experiences have been.

    Thanks!
