I think AF might come tomorrow. My doctor did a blood test yesterday and called to say it was negative. What was weird this time was that I surged on CD10 and had the IUI the next day. Before I had the HSG, my cycles were 29 days and I surged on day 15, since then, they have been all off. I am currently 16 DPIUI and am on CD28 with no AF. I don't know if I should start any medicine as both attempts have been natural, but the cost and the chance for multiples have my husband and I nervous. I have an e-mail into my accupuncturist (tried that for the first time this past attempt) to check on adding herbs. My doctor said that everything was fine with me, so I really hate to start adding medicine, but whatever gets me pregnant is what I want.

Sorry, Maria2, I forgot to reply about the insurance. The only thing it paid for was the testing, nothing else, so if I wanted to stay with this doctor, I would have to pay out of pocket for the blood work and sonograms. Our insurance does not pay for any of the other treatments, but once our new insurance starts in September, I will check that out. We will be trying on our third IUI the end of the month, so maybe I won't have to worry about it!!
-
Looks like 2976 is available in IUI prep again. Now I guess I need to decide if I should switch back to him when I'm ready later this month.
-
I have one last vial that I will be using this weekend or early next week, so I will post what the count comes back at and if it sticks this time!
-
Good luck sweet pea. Looks like we will be tww buddies. I am thinking mine will be on Sunday or Monday!
-
Charlotte,
Goodluck to you! I will be sending lots of prayers and baby dust to you! I lit a candle for you at church... here's hoping saint anthony helps the sperm find the egg!
Sweet pea.... good luck sending lots of prayers and baby dust your way!
Robin -
Thank you robin, I need that today! I hope your cycle goes well and I can't wait to hear if it worked:). You definately deserve it! I'm here if you need anything
-
Good luck ladies!!!! I hope I hear about a lot of BFPs!!!
-
Well, I had my last IUI with this donor this morning. The post thaw was 12.4 million with 34% motitlity. Here's hoping it sticks!
Thanks Robin and Maria for the prayers and good luck to you Charlotte. Let me know what your counts where.
-
Yay sweatpea those are great numbers. I'm so happy for you. Sending thoughts and prayers your way for a sticky bean! I had mine done yesterday and we were really happy with all counts I had two large follies and the sc was 15 million and 90 percent motility. That is the highest motility we ever had. It was usually in the 30s.
I'm so excited to have a cycle buddy. Maybe we can keep each other sane for a few weeks. Lol. Get lots of rest today and keep me posted on everything -
Wow, that motility is fantastic! I wish you all the luck as well. The countdown has begun!
-
Well I ordered today and decided to give 2976 another go. Fingers crossed for next week.

Any symptoms yet hopefulchar?
-
I've had several symptoms but really trying not too get my hopes up. What about you?
-
Well, I thought I had a lot of symptoms last month, but this week, I am REALLY tired. I am just chalking it up to allergies because I really don't feel any different other than I am not a hungry in the mornings anymore. Oh well, I guess we will find out in a couple of more days.
-
Sweetpea? Hopefulchar? Any word from you? I'm a week into my two week wait. I guess I can test on Friday however.
I've had bleeding that matches some of what I read on implantation bleeding, but I don't trust it as I bled off and on all last week - clots (ew) and when I have to ahem (#2) I get more clots and bleeding. I really could do without a week or so of bleeding after an IUI and I wonder sometimes if that alone isn't enough to somehow prevent attachment or something. Yea, I know how stupid that sounds, but it's funny the things you think. -
I found out yesterday that I am 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant! I have my first doctor's appointment tomorrow. I have been queasy for the last week and a half, but just thought it was allergies. Please pray that this little miracle sticks!
-
@sweetpea - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I'm so happy for you...as well as finding out that someone who used 2976 is pregnant!!! Awesome! I'm planning to do my next IUI soon....my AF should be coming around Sept 28th and try injectables. I can't wait...I was getting excited, but now even more so hearing your news!!! I really needed a break and just have some time...but now feeling re-energized!
Keep us posted sweetpea!!!!
Good luck hopefulchar and sibemom! -
Yay sweetpea! I hope I can join you
It sure does help boost my positive thoughts to hear your good news. Feel well! -
Thanks for all of the well wishes. I still can not believe that God chose me to be someone's mom! I praise Him everyday. I have been feeling really well except for major allergies and waking up at 4:30 every day. My RE still wants to do blood work every couple of days to monitor by levels and after that on to an OB. I wish everyone luck in thier next IUI's!
-
Sibemom,
Just checkin in..Hope all is well.. -
I know this was posted a long time ago, but we are using 2976 for our first try in November.
-
Well, I am very sad to say that my levels have dropped from last Thursday. The doctor wants me to check again next Monday. Please pray that something turns around this week.
-
Sweet pea. You and your blessing are in my prayers. I hope your levels decide to start climbing again. I'm here if you need anything
-
Hang tight Sweetpea. You're in my prayers.
I'm a major negative, but I did suspect it given how my body was behaving since the IUI. I guess I now should qualify for a free specimen... need to call my dr to have them do the paperwork. I really need to ask them what they recommend we do as a next step. Clearly, I am not getting the timing right with an OV test. -
Thank you for your prayers. I just cried all last night, but I know that anything is possible when we have faith. I don't think that I will be able to wait a whole week to check my blood again. I might just show up at the lab tomorrow. If this blessing doesn't work out, I will just try again. There is always hope.
-
Sweetpea,
My heart just breaks for you! I am so sorry. I am praying for you! -
Thanks for all of the prayers. My husband and I stayed at home yesterday and watched movies, had pizza and coke floats. It was very nice to just be together. The part that stinks is that the nurse says it can take 2-3 weeks to end. Not looking forward to that, but God has a different plan for me and it will work next time for sure. At least I know that I can get pregnant.
-
I'm so sorry sweetpea! Know that we are all here to support you.
-
Looks like our boy is out of stock again. *sigh* I didn't even see it go to call (less than 20 units) and poof gone.
