Hey ahayden- I actually tested at like day 8 or 9 to see if the trigger was out of my system as I took a trigger shot after a 50 mg cycle of Clomid. I tested and had to negatives day 12 and 13. i got my BFP day 14 and now I am 28 weeks pregnant with a little boy.

Not to put out false hope or anything, but I had symptoms my period was coming as well on two of the four IUI's I went though. The fourth which took was one of them. Best of luck, I'll keep my eye out to see how it turns out for you!!! Sending baby dust your way.

Pots thanks for the reply. It is so encouraging to hear from those that have had good results. Today is 11DPIUI. I'm not going to test until day 14. It's so hard to remain optimistic when you want something so bad. The other thing that is throwing us off are the donors numbers. He only had 7 million count and 34% motility. The RE said they were moving. But just don't know if we can get results with that. Thanks asmnf for your info as well. Baby dust to you as well!

I just know that my mind is playing tricks on me. I'm only 4dpiui but my angst is eased if only a bit, but getting it down. That's the only action i have control over so here goes. 3dpiui extreme nausea in the morning, strange crampy bloating, more tired than normal after work. 4dpiui bloated + strange fluttering sensation. I know I've not implanted yet if we did conceive but hormones change at conception...or I'm driving myself crazy

Yeah I don't know 4th Try...I hope it is for your sake. And just like it is for mine. The frustrating part is the sample I was given for 4417, was less than the 10 mill they guarantee. I have talked to others on here who used 4417 and his were in the 20 mill level. I just have a few days left to wait. And I am so nervous to take a test. I am just afraid that my "friend" will show before I can test. I still can't really eat things I really like. It's just been crackers, soup, 7-up etc. And sucking on peppermints. What is your experience with IUI's. How many have you done? How has the count been for you? Take care 4th try...praying for a miracle for you.

I'm sorry about the count you had from your donor and the stress it's causing. Try not to be too concerned for now; they always say it only takes one! But I would call Fairfax if you haven't already. I've read of other women who were able to get a free vial as a replacement when the sample was lower quality than guaranteed.

My doctor called me friday and told me that she didn't send in the letter to the insurance yet to petition them to cover the IVF. She said she was going to fax it yesterday though so hopefully she did. She also wants to do bloodwork for gentic testing to see if there is a gentic or chromosimal reason for why I'm not getting pregnant. I feel totally frustrated and upset because I've done 8 IUIs and shes just now asking to do the gentic testing. I'm praying that test comes back fine, but it will be another twoo weeks just to get the results. I just wanted to share this with everyone so that if your doctor hasn't ordered that test yet that you ask that they do it. My follicles grow normal on ultrasound and respond okay to medications so I thought there wasn't a problem. My doctor said that people with gentic problems can have that happen though and still not get pregnant and they appear totally normal and healthy. I just felt I should warn everyone to get this test done before they do 8 IUIs like I did.

I'm halfway through my tww, 7dpiui today. I had some early false symptoms at 3 and 4dpiui, nausea and vomiting. I tested out my hcg trigger the night of the 5th dpiui and those symptoms stopped by that time. Today, I'm having some lower back pain and mild cramping. Also slight constipation I'm trying not to read too much into it. One more week to go. I will start testing for real at 9 dpiui (if I can wait that long). FX'd and lots of baby dust for all of us in the wait.

I am so sorry about what you've gone through Dreams! I pray that they can find out something. At least I hope it's something that they can fix. I know how feels to have your dreams dashed and going through all these fertility things. I hope that you get your baby miracle!

4th Try O +: I had similar symptoms on days 3-4 they started to resolve by the end of the 5th day. Hang in there. My only thought was if this is what one shot of hcg did to me, I am going to have a rough time of it when this one sticks.

Ahayden: 7 million is a little low. I thought Fairfax did some type of reimbursement when the number were that low? 34% motility doesn't sound that bad to me. I know 40 % is considered a good reading on fresh sperm. My sample had 14.8 million sperm and 38% motility (after wash) though a different donor. My RE thought it was a good sample. I keep telling myself it only takes one.

Dreamsabc123: I hope your genetic testing comes back Ok and your insurance pays for IVF.

Hi TX Rain. Good luck to you. We are nearing the end of our 2WW. I been feeling that way too. The weird things is I have had a lot of the symptoms that I would have when I get my "friend". But one of the symptoms I always gets right before it comes is my boobs hurting. They have hurt a little last week, but nothing this week. My "friend" should show up tomorrow, but the meds usually delay it. I really want this bad, but I don't know. I guess we will see what happens. What do you mean when you say I tested out my trigger? I did not do a trigger shot. My DR just recommended to do Ovulation kits and then come in on my peak day. So you start taking a pregnancy test at day 9? How many IUI's have you tried?

Ahayden, I took cheap pregnancy test to see when they would read negative. The hcg from the trigger shot will cause a positive urine pregnancy test result. Different people metabolizes it at different rates and I had heard of people getting false positive on home pregnancy test up to 14 days because of the shot. This was my 1st IUI, so I decided to take pregnancy test until I had a negative result which was 5 days for m. Mow I don't have to worry about getting a false positive later. If I have to do another IUI, I will probably just take one pregnancy test around the 6th day to be sure I not reading hcg from the trigger shot. I usually don't have symptoms before af other than getting really tired a couple of days before so I am really stressing ever symptom. I hope your friend decides not to visit this month.

Well...my AF should have come yesterday. I did not. That could have been because of the Clomid I was on. Today was day 2. I had some slight spotting which was brown and light pink. Then this afternoon, there was a little more pinkish colored. I had thought it was my AF starting. But I come home tonight after work and ready to put in a tampon, and there isn't a lot of blood, and it has stopped. My cycles are very heavy with at least 3-4 days of bleeding. I guess I will take a test in the AM. If it's negative, I will wait to see if anything else shows up. Anyone else have this happen???

I am also thinking if I'm not pregnant...then I need to probably test to see if my eggs are still good or if I have any viable eggs left. I am 36, so not sure if that is the problem. What kind of test could be done to check that? Any home test out there? What do you guys think. I know we have already talked to Fairfax about getting a refund since the count was lower than the guarantee. I just wonder if we should look at a different donor??? Thoughts???

Dear diary, I think I've lost my mind LoL...
6-7dpiui RLS symptoms haven't had since childhood, overwhelming feeling that I'm not alone (really?) Constant urination, vivid dreams
8dpiui more frequent urination, more RLS, vivid dreams, sensitive nipples, insomnia , woke up at 3:50am swollen hands, left house for CVS just a compulsion to test, BFN of course.
Some of my symptoms can definitely be attributed to the fact that I'm not drinking coffee in the morning or wine at night.

ahayden, there is a test to check about the quality of your eggs. I had one done last year. Talk to your doctor. It was a blood test so I doubt it's something you can do at home.

This is very frustrating. Now we have to wait for Fairfax to do an investigation on our saample and how it was treated at our clinic. They state that the quality guarantee was voided since we moved after they shipped the sample. Now we wait. So it looks like were taking off a month. If you did not hear, my AF showed up yesterday. But it is so weird. It doesn't feel like a normal AF. Who knows!

Ahayden: sorry to hear AF started. Did you get a beta done? The blood work I remember that is supposed to give information on ovarian reserve was FSH and AMH. I not sure what is a good indicator of egg quality.

No. But...I did preliminary blood work. I have a call in to my doctor to see if they tested for FSH. We moved from MO to IA recently and we did an IUI with my husbands sperm just because the DR was willing to try it. With that dr, they monitored everything unlike the new dr we have. In MO, they did all the before ultrasounds, triggered the ovulation, did the IUI, saw that the egg dropped, saw that it burst and then we waited for conception, which didn't happen. But now, the DR in IA does it different. They have you take a ovulation test on day 12, then when you peak (smiley face), you call the DR and schedule the IUI the next day. They don't monitor anything. At this point, we are waiting to see if Fairfax will give us a refund or a free vial.

So we filed a complaint with fairfax based on the sample that we were sent. They are NOT giving us a refund. They stated that clearly we were given a sample that was substandard-below the companies quality guarantee. But because our clinic post washed the sample it voided the refund. They can only guarantee the sample quality at the time it is thawed. I have tried to explain to them that at the time of thaw which was right before our iui, the count was only 7 million. We will NOT be going with this company again. You all night want to look elsewhere too. After seeing all the failed iui reports here, no wonder why people are doing 8-9 iui's. Good luck!!!

What was strange was that something happened on the train this morning and I started crying and cant stop crying. This is not helpful at work

Anyone else that cant control their emotions? This sounds like a symptom of the TWW itself...

4th Try O +, I'm with you. I haven't felt anything starting yesterday. I feel like it didn't work this month. I am still testing negative. I think a lot of the very early symptoms are from the meds and procedure itself.
