This tww is dreadful. I had my first iui natural cycle on 8/6. I go for my bloodwork on thursday 8/13. I have been praying, wishing and keeping positive thoughts that this will work. I decided to be a SMBC and I have a great support system....my family (parents and 2 brothers). I just hope I get some great news at the end of these 2 weeks. I have enjoyed reading everyones stories. It helps knowing I'm not alone in this.

Dimples. My IUI's were done August 5th and 6th this month which are the exact same dates that I got pregnant with our son last year. This is my second round this time... here's hoping.

Thanks!!! We have our second ultrasound tomorrow- hopefully we can measure a good heartbeat!

I'll be watching this thread for news, but we are out this month. I'm so bummed. I took the Letrozole on cd 2, and went in for my cd 8 follicle check this morning. I have a BEAUTIFUL 19 on my right ovary, and a pretty 16 on my left. We weren't prepared this early...no trigger, no sperm, and the doctor can't do it this weekend if we were somehow able to get it delivered tomorrow. My lining is just a 7 anyway, so we decided to skip a month instead of potentially wasting money. The good part is that they credited us this cycle and we won't be buying/shipping sperm, so we get to save a little money. I'm just bummed bc my left ovary gives me trouble, and my right ovary was SO ready this month. We struggled to get to a 16 last month on my left side.
I hate to wait, but have to trust that there is a reason for it all.

Hey all! We had our second ultrasound on Friday and baby measured 7w4d with a heartrate of 154bpm. We go back Aug 31st to see the OBGYN! Hopefully the little bean keeps growing and thriving. I have been having some cramps but it's hard to tell when it's uterus cramps or GI cramps.

    How is everyone else??

Congrats. I'm happy everything has been working out so far. It must be sooo exciting finally hearing your little ones heartbeat. I'm doing fine so far. I go on the 20th for my pregnancy test. I'm a little nervous but very hopeful.

I have a question for you ladies. Tomorrow I go in to my doctor's office for my pregnancy test. Is the pregnancy test a urine sample like a hpt or do they draw blood? Also, if it's through blood work, do you find out the results right away?

It is a blood draw I just had mine Monday and it was negative :-(. My lab gets the results back in a matter of hours. Good luck to you. I go back tomorrow for a baseline to start all over again.

Thanks for the reply and positivity. I have been trying to hold out and not take a hpt. I'm so nervous for tomorrow but I can't wait to find out the results. These past 2 weeks have been so difficult and draining. Good Luck with your next try. Sending lots of baby dust your way.

    Dimples... any news?

Jan.. right there with you. Moving to injectables, we don't get to try this month because it was too late to start injectables. So a month to rest.

I received the best news in my life yesterday. The blood work came back positive for pregnancy. My levels were 67. I go back tomorrow (Saturday) for repeat blood work and make sure my hcg levels continue rising. Thank you ladies for the support these last 2 weeks. I will continue updating you and looking out for your updates. Thanks again xoxo

We are pregnant with donor 4514!! Got a positive BFP today at the docs!! Most beautiful and exciting news we have ever received. :).

Janbaby I'm so sorry you didn't make it this month. I've been down because I haven't had a period since the surgery in June! The doctor didn't find any issues and he said it went well. I think it's the stress of my life that has me thrown off track. Prayerfully I'll get back on track soon! These beautiful babies are just so precious!

Hi. We had an IUI on Wednesday. This is our second with donor 4417. The first one we didn't get a good count or motility. But this time, we had great numbers. The count was almost 14 Million and the motility was 39%. Are those good #'s? We have to go in and do a blood test to check the progesterone levels. What levels will they be looking for?
  • ahaydenahayden Member Member
Hi Chaffinsl. We are new to this forum. We have done a 2nd IUI on Wed. Were supposed to go in on Wed for a blood test to determine our levels of progesterone. Will they start us on progesterone and when should that start. When did you test to get the positive result. Did you wait the full 2 weeks?
